When considering a restaurant, understanding the dining environment, available services, and unique features helps in making an informed decision. While the provided reviews do not offer specific details about the ambiance or décor of Asia Eatery, it is common for Chinese restaurants to provide a casual and welcoming setting for their diners. The focus is often on creating a comfortable space where customers can enjoy their meals. However, without explicit descriptions of the interior, the specific environment of Asia Eatery remains unknown.

In terms of services, Asia Eatery likely offers standard options for a Chinese restaurant, which typically include:

  • Dine-in: Providing a physical space for customers to enjoy their meals on the premises. One review mentions visiting the restaurant, indicating a dine-in option is available.
  • Takeout: The first review mentions waiting for the amount of time they were told on the phone, suggesting that takeout orders are a regular part of their service.

Delivery services are not explicitly mentioned in the provided customer reviews. Customers interested in delivery options should contact the restaurant directly to inquire about their availability and service area.

The features of Asia Eatery, based on the customer reviews, present a somewhat mixed perspective. One first-time visitor reported "average prices" and found the "food portions" to be "big!" They also noted that the restaurant was "very busy" but they only waited the estimated time given on the phone. This customer's daughter "loved her egg drop soup" and is described as picky with soup, suggesting that this particular dish is well-received. This positive initial experience led the reviewer to state that they would "definitely visit again."

In contrast, another reviewer had a significantly negative experience. They claimed to have been "charged over $20 extra then what menu says," indicating a serious discrepancy in pricing. This customer also expressed dissatisfaction with specific dishes. They reported having to personally put sweet and sour sauce on what they described as "regular chicken fingers" that came with it. Additionally, they ordered "egg fried rice" but received "white rice" instead. Furthermore, they found the "boneless ribs" to be "painfully dry." This reviewer stated that they spent "over $60 for what exactly?" highlighting their disappointment with the value and quality of their order.

The stark contrast between these two reviews suggests a potential inconsistency in the quality of food, accuracy of orders, and pricing at Asia Eatery. While one customer found good value and enjoyed specific dishes like the egg drop soup, the other experienced overcharging, incorrect items, and poorly prepared food like the dry boneless ribs and the substitution of white rice for egg fried rice.

Promotional information is not available in the provided customer reviews. To learn about any special offers, discounts, or new menu items that Asia Eatery might be featuring, local users should contact the restaurant directly or check if they have a website or social media presence where they might post such information. Inquiring about daily specials or any combination meal deals might also be beneficial.

In conclusion, Asia Eatery in South Paris, ME, is a Chinese restaurant that has received mixed feedback from online reviewers. One customer praised the average prices, large portions, and the quality of their daughter's egg drop soup, indicating a positive first impression and a likely return visit. However, another customer reported significant issues, including being overcharged, receiving incorrect items (white rice instead of egg fried rice), and poor food quality (dry boneless ribs, plain chicken fingers). These contrasting experiences suggest that the quality and service at Asia Eatery might be inconsistent. Potential customers should be aware of these differing opinions. It would be prudent to confirm pricing at the time of ordering and to be specific about order details. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on their menu, services, and any promotions, contacting Asia Eatery directly is recommended.

was charged over $20 extra then what menu says. you personally have to put on your sweet and sour and just given regular chicken fingers with it. ordered egg fried rice and was given white rice. boneless ribs are painfully dry. spent over $60 for what exactly?

I ordered the vegetable lo mein plate with a side of pork fried rice and chicken fingers, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the overall taste. The food was incredibly bland—so much so that I couldn’t even finish my meal. I remember this restaurant serving much better food about two and a half years ago, so I can't help but wonder what changed. This was my third time ordering since then, hoping for improvement, but each time, the food has been consistently flavorless and lacking seasoning. At this point, I can no longer recommend this place. Sadly, even frozen meals from the grocery store have more flavor.

Owner very pleasant but she rushes you to make decisions. My particular food just terrible. Beef with peapods so salty I couldn't eat it and it was just swimming in dark sauce. it was like a soup. The pork lomein tasted like the propane used to cook it. I am very disappointed and will not go back there. And it all cost me $40!

Take this as you will. I give credit where it is due. However, same is true on an opposing opinion. Food was worse than basic and was so fast that it might as well have been microwaved. There isn't any service with the tables unavailable. There's no point to spending your income on something the supermarket cuisines can do better.
