About Asia Delight

Welcome to Asia Delight, a Chinese restaurant located at 736 Upper Glen St, Queensbury, NY 12804, USA. As a Chinese restaurant serving the Queensbury area, Asia Delight offers a variety of dishes that fall under the category of Chinese cuisine. They can be contacted at (518) 792-8790 or their mobile number, +1 518-792-8790, for inquiries or to place orders for takeout. While the reviews indicate they do not offer their own delivery service, customers can utilize third-party delivery platforms.

Based on the limited customer feedback available online, opinions on Asia Delight appear to be divided. One reviewer noted that while a majority of reviews for the restaurant were favorable, their personal experience was just "average." This customer did not find the food to be bad but also stated that it was not particularly impressive. However, they did highlight a positive aspect, mentioning that their husband found the dumplings to be "really good." This suggests that dumplings might be a standout item on their menu. The reviewer also pointed out that Asia Delight does not offer direct delivery, so they used DoorDash for their order, indicating that the restaurant is accessible through third-party delivery services.

In stark contrast, another customer had a very negative experience, expressing that they would give the food "negative stars" if possible. This reviewer detailed several issues with their meal. They found the noodles in the lo mein to be "soggy" and the beef to be "stringy," with an overall "awful" taste. The sweet and sour chicken was described as "disgusting and dry." As a result of this experience, the customer stated they would "never eat there again." The only positive comment from this reviewer was that the woman who took their order was "nice," suggesting that the customer service during the ordering process was satisfactory, despite the poor food quality.

The environment of Asia Delight is not described in the provided reviews. As a local Chinese restaurant offering takeout and utilizing third-party delivery services, it likely has a functional space for order taking and food preparation. The availability of phone numbers suggests that phone orders for takeout are accepted. Whether they offer dine-in services and the general ambiance of the restaurant are not mentioned in the reviews. Local users interested in these aspects would need to contact the restaurant directly or visit their location on Upper Glen Street.

In terms of services, Asia Delight primarily offers takeout, and they are accessible for delivery through third-party services like DoorDash. One reviewer specifically mentioned the lack of direct delivery from the restaurant itself. The customer service during the order placement was noted as positive by one reviewer, but there is no information regarding service in a dine-in setting, if available. The contrasting feedback on food quality suggests a potential inconsistency in their preparation or the quality of certain dishes.

The features of Asia Delight, based on the limited reviews, include a menu with standard American Chinese fare, with at least one customer highlighting the "really good" dumplings as a potential specialty. However, other dishes, such as the lo mein, beef, and sweet and sour chicken, received significant criticism. The soggy noodles, stringy beef, and disgusting, dry sweet and sour chicken indicate potential issues with the preparation and quality of these items. The positive mention of the dumplings suggests that focusing on specific items might lead to a better experience.

Promotional information is not provided in the given reviews. It is unknown if Asia Delight offers any specials, lunch deals, or other promotions to attract customers. Those interested in such offers would need to contact the restaurant directly.

The two available customer reviews for Asia Delight present a stark contrast in experience. One suggests an average experience with particularly good dumplings and the use of third-party delivery, while the other describes a very negative encounter with poorly prepared and unappetizing dishes. This divergence in feedback indicates a potential inconsistency in the quality of their food, with some dishes being well-received while others are significantly lacking.

For local users in Queensbury, particularly those residing near Upper Glen Street, Asia Delight is a Chinese restaurant option for takeout and delivery via third-party services. If you are a fan of dumplings, the positive review suggests they might be worth trying. However, the strong negative feedback regarding other common dishes should give potential customers pause. It might be prudent to exercise caution when ordering other items on the menu.

Given the conflicting reviews, potential customers might want to consider trying a small order, focusing on items like the dumplings that received positive feedback, to assess the quality for themselves. If you plan to use a third-party delivery service, ensure that Asia Delight is actively working with that platform to avoid any issues.

To obtain the most current information about their menu, hours of operation, and any potential specials, as well as to inquire about the preparation of specific dishes, please contact Asia Delight directly at (518) 792-8790 or +1 518-792-8790. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate details and possibly address the concerns raised in the negative review.

In conclusion, Asia Delight in Queensbury, NY, has received mixed reviews from online customers. While their dumplings were noted as "really good," other dishes like the lo mein, beef, and sweet and sour chicken were described very negatively. The restaurant offers takeout and utilizes third-party delivery services. Local users should consider this varied feedback when deciding whether to patronize Asia Delight.

Although a majority of reviews gave this place a favorable review, I found it to be just average. Not bad, but didn't blow my mind. My husband did say their dumplings were really good. They don't deliver, so we used Door dash for this order.

If I could give this food negative stars I would. Noodles in lo mein were soggy, the beef was stringy. The taste was awful. The sweet and sour chicken was disgusting and dry. I will never eat there again. The woman taking our order was nice that about the only good thing to come out of this meal.

Great place! Good food. Egg rolls are always hot, crispy, and not greasy.

Went here last night, you just can't win with queensbury Chinese! We got 2 large fried rice and one small, a small chicken lo mein and a large sweet and sour chicken. My step mom got the lo mein and thats all I really ate. The rice was okay, nothing overly thrilling, and the sweet and sour chicken was awful. Rock solid and full of grease. It was definitely made, left to sit, then redipped in the oil to heat it back up. Breaking it apart with your hands actually took a crazy amount of effort nevermind eating it! We spent 68.80 for those 5 items, I wish I could say it was worth it but it didn't even come close. They do give you a 2 liter of soda free if you spend what we did though sooo that and the lo mein is where one star came from. I think we've officially given up on Chinese for the area, if dragon Lee in warrensburg isn't open, we skip the Chinese food from now on.
