Applebee's Grill + Bar

First time ever the service wasn’t on point! Got a negative vibe from the server (Martine F.) soon as she walked up to our table! She didn’t refill our tea not one time. It will be awhile before we go back for sure!

Ocean was by far the BEST waitress we’ve ever had. She was very spunky and upbeat, despite clearly being very busy. We came in as a large group and she even treated our children with utmost respect and kindness and listened to everything they had to say. She checked in often, socialized with us, really seemed like she enjoys her job. Not the usual mindless questions and responses waiters use for everybody that comes in. We will be coming back!

5 Apr 2025 7:00 my wife and I were seated on North side of restaurant. Do not remember name of server. We ordered burgers Ff and cokes. The food was petty good, came out ina timely mannerand atmosphere was as well. I do not know what was up with our waitress. Maybe just could not keep up with the 3 tables she was serving. I was quite thirsty, had not drank enough all day glad was empty before meal came out. Did not get a refill until half way through my burger and that was gone before my Ff

We visited this location on 5/14/2024. When we stepped through the door we were greeted and the host took us to our table. Our waiter name was Norman aka Monty. Monty was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, great, awesome, down to earth, relatable, funny and very respectful. He made our experience great. Also, the manager Scarleet was working the floor, walking around checking on tables, asking how everyone was doing and asking about the service that was provided. That alone made the experience great also, because I rarely see managers walking the floor, working the floor and check on customers, here on the Coast. The staff was very friendly, respectful and awesome (They even were asking how we were doing and told us to have a great day upon leaving)! The business was super clean and the food was on point. Now let's talk about the food! I really don't care for Applebee's food at all, but this location, the waiter, the manager and the food changed my mind. My wife and I had the southwest chicken bowls and our daughter had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. I only have one photo of the SW chicken bowl, sorry! But the food was delicious, wonderful, seasoned well, cooked to perfection and our food was fresh when we received it. The serving portion of each dish was a nice size and we had enough for leftovers. I know there's a few bad reviews, however visit the location for yourself and you judge based off of your experience. I would highly recommend this location! Thank you for the awesome food, service and experience to the whole staff and crew at Applebee's! The absolute rudest bartender on staff tonight. We weren’t greeted, had to ask for menus, and her attitude from the start made it clear she was ready to go home. As soon as more people who looked like us came in, she refused to take our orders and completely ignored us. It was definitely giving racism, and the energy was beyond uncomfortable. Do better.
