Applebee's Grill + Bar

Stopped in for dinner with a group of 6 and we had Amanda H as our server. She was terrific with handling our group and getting our waters and cocktails out to us quickly. She answered all our questions and even had the kitchen cut a hamburger in half for two of us who were sharing a meal. Will definitely be stopping in again when we are out this way. Food was fast and delicious.

Came on May 10 2024, with my wife and 2 friends for dinner. I ordered the boneless wings which were top notch as I have remembered as it has been years since I have eaten at a Applebees. For my main meal I had the full rack of baby back ribs with double mashed potatoes. The ribs were perfectly cooked and couldn’t get enough. My wife ordered the quesadillas which she loved. Now everything was good food wise except a mistake made by the waitress. One of my friends has a medical problem which she specifically ordered a meal and the meal was messed up with ingredients she should not of had when told not to put it in the meal. Now with that being said she took one bite and immediately recognized the meal was not to order. The waitress did go get another one but due to the fear of the order being wrong again she did not eat the meal and was still charged. The waitress was not attentive and was a hassle to get a glass of water. I will say besides the hiccups with service the rest of our visit was enjoyable.

We go often, but this was different. Food was good, server wasn’t engaging. “I don’t know was her favorite phrase”. Shopping competition next time,

Went here to get some bourbon street chicken with my boyfriend and it was a nice time to get out of the house and eat a nice meal. I’ve always loved the bourbon street chicken. I seen no problems with the food that I had gotten and thought the chicken was moist and the potatoes were nice and crispy on the outside and the shrimp onions and mushrooms were grilled perfectly The onion rings I got as an appetizer were good. They had a nice crunchy breading that I really liked. Only issue is they didn’t have a sauce specially for the onion rings like every other place I’ve gone to that has onion rings so I had to eat them plane. The waitress seemed knowledgeable about the food and what was in it when I asked about what kind of cheese in in the French onion soup which made me feel happy. I would have gotten French onion soup but I wasn’t sure if the cheeses in it were safe during pregnancy so I got onion rings instead. But she seemed nice and helpful and that was a plus. I didn’t notice cause I was smelling foods but my boyfriend said they had an odd smell inside the building, probably the carpets from people spilling food and drinks and carpets being harder to clean than hard floors. Another thing that happened on another visit is that when my boyfriend ordered the baby back ribs they were cold in the center and they needed taken back and microwaved and the bourbon street chicken was not as well grilled as the first visit. The onions were still pretty white and the shrimp didn’t have as much time on the grill as the first time other. It was still good but not as good as the first visit though. We went for my friends sons bday. Server was nice. Spinach dip was not hot, chips were super old. One of the meal the steak was grey!!! Should have been medium. Myself and two other had chicken( if you call rubber consumable) my friend burnt her hand on a plate and was not told it was hot! This use to be a nice place to eat and enjoy the food! Now the drinks are gross and food is not worth giving away. Please change this!
