Applebee's Grill + Bar

I ordered food tonight on grub hub… I don’t know who the cook was but they should be fired! This food is awful.. overcooked with no seasoning. Blue cheese dressing was like water, dry steak and shrimp. They did not even add my toppings I paid for. Management PLEASE treat delivery orders the same as if the customer was sitting in your establishment! You definitely lost me as an online customer

I took my granddaughter & grandson there for lunch. We were seated right away & was told "the server will be with in about 15-20 minutes". It was 40 minutes when the server came by & said "I'll be right with you & walked off". 20 minutes later she came back & took the order. The smoothie order was incorrect & the kids meal did not come. It arrived just in time for us to get to go containers & box it up with the other food. I told the server I had a coupon code for a free appetizer & showed it to her. She said ok I'll put that in. When I got the receipt I had been comped boneless chicken wings which I did not order. I asked to speak with the manager who said "she rang that up by mistake, see it was taken off". I said it says "comp" & none of the appetizers I ordered have been comped. I show her the code, walk to the register with her (I wasn't going to hand her my phone like she suggested) & she put the code in. Watch your receipts people.

Got to the Merrillville restaurant at 5:40 we waited 20 minutes for someone to come over to seat us. It took another 20 minutes for somebody to take our drink order. Waited another 20 for the server to take our order at 7:15. Nobody came to ask if we needed refills on our drinks or if everything was ok. Now , let me say the restaurant was not busy at all. We did ask if the manager could come over which he did. He apologized and said next time ask for him. Why ? I shouldn’t have to ask for him I’ve never had to do that at any other restaurant. Come to find out that our server had been there since the morning and our food had been sitting on the line and nobody could help her and run her orders out. When we FINALLY got our food it wasn’t even warm my daughter got steak and the broccoli was ice cold because it was sitting. The manager took 20 dollars off of the bill of almost $100.00 Really ? We frequent this Applebees restaurant often but , I don’t know if we will again. FYI we weren’t the only table asking to talk to the manager.

I ordered carry out food at this location. I had to chase down a waitress at first to ask how to pick up my food. I had already paid for to go one came by said she was just a hostess, and I finally went up to the bar and a lady there said that she was getting my food ready. She at least acknowledged me. I had put my order in two hours in advance. It was not ready on time and then when I get my food to my location, it was cold. I could only eat the green beans and I took my chicken breast off the bun because it was cold and I reheated it at work in the microwave Which my food should already have been warmer in the first place the atmosphere was very nice. It was a clean restaurant plenty of seating for lunchtime and I like the way it looked inside because it was the first time I went in there. I wish they could bring curbside Service back, but there were not working at this location so you order food you have to go in which is OK as long as they’re knowledge you I just feel customer service could go a longer way

After having a horrible experience at the VALPO Applebees , my wife and I used a gift card at this location . I was completely surprised how great the service was the manager Al was super attentive working hard cleaning table, refilling drinks I am not use to seeing such great team work . My waitress Tabitha was amazing ! She was kind and attentive. My food come out so fresh and hot ! The steak was really good I will eat at this location again !
