Apple Valley Family Restaurant

On our return trip from Mystic Seaport, CT, we spotted this restaurant on way out of Milford, PA and decided to stop by. Often times, as new diners in an established place, we’re not sure what their food strengths are and so, we asked the waitress, Michaela, for suggestions. Burger and onion rings, salad for something safe. All the food was good except for those onion rings that presented over fried and I summoned the manager, AMANDA, made sure to replace them with their French fries, great substitute. When a manager is ON SITE and checks in on folks inquiring about their satisfaction is PRICELESS, especially when she has the opportunity to correct issues. GREAT JOB, young lady. We don’t get up your way often yet won’t forget to stop in and further, recommend your restaurant to others looking to dine up in that neck of the woods.

I've spotted this restaurant and have meant to visit for several years. I'm so glad I did! Sarah was a lovely waitress, our meals were delicious and the portions generous, the decor was lovely! It's also located in a little shopping village with a garden and pond. I'll be back!

This is a cozy little restaurant, perfect for a casual lunch. Once I saw they had blooming onion on the menu, I knew I had to go! It was incredible - the best one I’ve ever had. We also got a burger and chicken sandwich, both great. Their fries are different and tasty. Although the food was great, the real standout here was the service. The waitress was so kind and on the ball with the food, drinks, check, etc. Highly recommend!

This review is based on my first time at Apple Valley. The service was friendly and prompt. Stopped a few days after Thanksgiving so the Christmas decor was in full swing and is well done. Food was bad. Save your money for the other gift shops there. Hopefully it was just a poor cook at lunchtime but when your fried foods aren't good, there's an issue. One kid got the "skillet pizza" that was thick, pasty sauce slathered on a premade pizza crust and topped with barely melted white cheese. My wings were way over cooked to the point the meat wasn't edible and onion rings had the onions cooked out of them. Saw other people's tables with similar issues. We had to go down the highway and get fastfood takeout.

The place is nice and big. The food was great and helpful staff.
