Annam Pho & Sandwiches

The food is okay. I've been ordering spring rolls and fried rice from them for a year. Tonight I tried to order crispy flat rice noodle. The first time it came out it wasn't crispy at all, it was steamed (no photo available). I returned and asked very politely for the noodles to be a little crispy, as he agreed to that modification on the original phone order. He was rude to me and returned 10 minutes later with deep fried noodles that were not edible (photo #1). I felt like he was trying to tell me to take my business elsewhere. I again, politely asked for noodles that were not deep fried, but crispy (photo #2). He came back for the third time with an even bigger attitude and the right noodles. He was extremely rude to me and I did nothing wrong to him.

I really love the Pho here. I've come back many times as it is the most authentic in this area. The other food is excellent too. I especially like the crispy shrimp appetizer. It has a nice presentation and includes delicious grilled peppers. I recommend putting chili sauce in the sweet dip they bring with the shrimp. I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it could use some attention. Half of it is like storage but if the place is full you wont even notice. The staff are attentive and the service is great.

What a great place for a bowl of pho! The service here is very fast! I ordered some crispy tofu for an appetizer and a main of pho and the tofu came to the table in under 5 minutes with the pho coming out as I was finishing the last couple of bites of tofu. The tofu was crispy and hot but not scalding my mouth! They served it with a sweet & sour sauce and have hoison and Sriracha sauce at the table which goes great with everything they serve. The pho was richly flavored and had a generous serving of rice noodles as well as a side plate of bean sprouts and veggies. The beef in the soup was wonderfully tender and the broth really had a nice flavor! I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving pho!

On my search to find good fried rice in Oceanside/vista I’ve been met with nothing but disgustingness and disappointment. Today I decided to give this place a try, waited 40 minutes for this pathetic and I mean the sorriest Serving size of fried rice I’ve ever seen. There was nothing good about this. No flavor, nothing. The “meats”in here make the lunch meat I ate in elementary school look like Morton’s. If you’re someone who enjoys the absolute minimum amount of customer service, quality of food, amount of food, and value for your money, this couldn’t be a better place.

The BEST banh mi sandwich I've ever had. Bread was soft yet slight crunch, perfect French bread, the pork was meat, not just fatty cuts, and seasoned to perfection, the ingredients came together for a perfect flavor. The place is extremely clean, including impeccable bathrooms. And when you enter, you cross a small bridge with tropical greenery that gives you a calm that makes you want to sit and enjoy. Prices are extremely reasonable. (Photo is half size of sandwich since I already ate half).
