About Anna's Chinese Restaurant

Anna's Chinese Restaurant is a Chinese Restaurant located at 17252 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Portland, OR 97267, USA. For inquiries or to place an order, they can be contacted at (503) 303-7770 or their mobile number, +1 503-303-7770.

Based on the limited recent customer reviews available, there appears to be a significant disparity in the dining experiences at Anna's Chinese Restaurant. One review expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the food quality, describing it as "absolutely awful" and the worst Chinese food the reviewer had ever encountered. Specific issues were raised regarding multiple dishes. The fried rice was deemed terrible by everyone in the reviewer's party, despite the common expectation that even mediocre Chinese fried rice is usually edible. The sesame chicken arrived without sauce for two orders, and a side of what was purported to be sauce turned out to be ketchup. The fried chicken was described as tasting of old cooking oil, and the spring rolls were reported to be mushy and gross. Similarly, the steamed dumplings arrived without sauce and were characterized as mushy and flavorless. The reviewer's overall assessment was so negative that they chose to discard the food rather than eat it, strongly advising others to "Stay away from this place" and suggesting that there are "so many better options." This feedback raises serious concerns about the food preparation and quality control at Anna's Chinese Restaurant.

In stark contrast, another reviewer had a highly positive experience, referring to Anna's Chinese Restaurant as a "little gem đź’Ž." This customer praised the service as "always great" and highlighted the use of "fresh ingredients." They specifically expressed their obsession with the Shrimp Kung Pao, noting that the shrimp was never overcooked, the vegetables retained their crunch, and the dish consistently had a "perfect heat." This review paints a completely different picture, suggesting that at least one dish is prepared to a high standard and that the service is commendable. The use of fresh ingredients is also a positive attribute mentioned by this reviewer.

Given these two highly divergent reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of Anna's Chinese Restaurant. One customer experienced a complete failure in food quality across multiple standard Chinese-American dishes, while another found a specific dish to be exceptional and praised the service and ingredient freshness. This suggests a potential inconsistency in food preparation or a significant difference in the quality of various menu items.

Information regarding the environment of Anna's Chinese Restaurant is not provided in the available reviews. Therefore, an objective description of the ambiance, décor, or overall setting cannot be made based on this limited data.

The services offered appear to include dine-in and potentially takeout, as both reviewers likely received food prepared by the restaurant. The positive reviewer specifically mentioned "service is always great," indicating a positive aspect of their experience beyond the food itself. The negative reviewer's interaction with the restaurant (presumably via phone) regarding the issues with their order suggests that they do offer some form of customer service, although the resolution offered (a remake instead of a refund) did not satisfy the customer.

Features of Anna's Chinese Restaurant that can be gleaned from the reviews include a menu that offers standard Chinese-American dishes such as fried rice, sesame chicken, spring rolls, steamed dumplings, and Shrimp Kung Pao. The positive reviewer highlighted the fresh ingredients used in the Shrimp Kung Pao as a notable feature. However, the negative reviewer's experience suggests that the preparation and quality of these dishes can be inconsistent.

Currently, there is no information available in the provided reviews regarding any promotional offers, discounts, or special menus at Anna's Chinese Restaurant. Local users interested in learning about any such promotions are advised to contact the restaurant directly at (503) 303-7770 or visit their location at 17252 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Portland, OR 97267, USA, to inquire.

In conclusion, Anna's Chinese Restaurant in Portland has received starkly contrasting reviews from recent customers. One experienced widespread poor food quality across multiple dishes, while another praised the service and the Shrimp Kung Pao for its fresh ingredients and excellent preparation. This inconsistency makes it difficult to provide a definitive assessment. Potential customers should be aware of these differing experiences. If you are considering dining at Anna's Chinese Restaurant, you might want to inquire about the freshness and preparation methods of specific dishes, particularly if you are ordering items that received negative feedback in one of the reviews. The positive comments regarding service and at least one standout dish (Shrimp Kung Pao) suggest that there may be positive aspects to the dining experience for some customers. For the most current information on their menu, quality standards, and any potential promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

Absolutely awful! I’ve never had Chinese food that was prepared so poorly. Everything was flavorless. I don’t know how you can ruin fried rice … but everyone agreed that it was terrible. The sesame chicken arrived with no sauce for two orders. The “sauce” on the side was ketchup. The chunks of dried fried chicken tasted like the old oil that it was cooked in. The “spring rolls” were mushy and gross as well. The steamed dumplings arrived with no sauce and you guessed it … mushy with no flavor. We’ve all had great and not great Chinese food. But even the not great is still edible… this food was so bad that we chose to throw it away rather than eat it. So many better options. Stay away from this place.

I love this little gem đź’Ž. The service is always great. Fresh ingredients. I'm obsessed with the Shrimp Kung Pao; shrimp is never overcooked, veggies still have their crunch and always a perfect heat!

Food is phenomenal. However tonight I paid for two orange chicken meals. I received two orange chicken entrees and one rice. In the past two meals two rice. Two meals should equal two rice. 42 dollars for two meals should equal two meals. We have to split the rice. I was also charged more than 8 bucks tax in Oregon. A non sales tax state. Pending DD *VEGASDELI SAN FRANCISCO CAUS Amount: negative forty two dollars and thirty one cents($42.31
