Ann's Donburi

I've always ordered Uber Eats from here whenever I got sick. I've always enjoyed the taste, quantity and spice.

Excellent food. They have great promos running all the time on Ubereats. Can be a bit stingy with the protein at times so keep that in mind.

Ordered from ubereats and was given frozen soup..? (not sure if it’s fresh, maybe it was cooked days ago) And there’s no phone number I can contact with, not even on ubereats.

This is for Ann's DOWNTOWN location, could be differences 4/5 I had the sliced lamb and onion donburi and the braised pork sandwich. I’m normally adverse to lamb because I find it to be slightly too gamey most of the time, but I found that the sauce in this instance masked a little of it while allowing some of it to come through. I will say I found the sauce to be slightly salty and the onions a tad stringy when cut the way they were, but with the well cooked rice it was really nice. Portion was big too, I took like a 3rd of it to go for my dinner later that day. The bread for the braised pork sandwich was fluffier here as opposed to the flakey that I’m used to and have seen elsewhere. Not a bad thing, but I will say that the sandwich as a whole was kind of underwhelming. But also in retrospect I believe that a place like Bingz did it better (it’s Bingz’ specialty though, and not this place’s). Overall, go for the donburi, skip the braised pork sandwich imo unless you’re craving it. Also try to eat in as opposed to taking out, it seems like they skimp on proteins if you take out/order delivery (based on experiences I've been told).

I ordered through uber eats to try it out, unbelievable portion of rice, at least 95% topped with rice and 5% mixed with vegetables and meat! Definitely not ordering from this place again. I've ordered a lot of uber eats and this is by far the worse restaurant.
