About Amy's Peking Palace

Amy's Peking Palace is a Chinese Restaurant located at 500 W Napa St Ste 546 in Sonoma, California. This establishment has been serving the local community for a number of years. However, recent customer reviews available online contain serious allegations that potential patrons should carefully consider.

One customer, who stated they had been visiting Amy's Peking Palace for many years, reported a disturbing experience. According to their review, after consuming approximately half of a medium-sized order of sweet and sour chicken, they discovered what they identified as fly eggs within and protruding from the chicken pieces. This resulted in a physical reaction and subsequent stomach pains for the reviewer. The customer returned to the restaurant to inform the staff about the issue. They stated that while the staff acknowledged not knowing what the обнаруженные elements were, they offered a refund, a new order, or free food, all of which the customer refused.

The review further indicates that the cook attempted to explain the обнаруженные elements as potentially being flour or cornstarch that was not properly mixed. However, the customer strongly disputed this explanation, stating their certainty that they were fly eggs. According to the review, the staff opened several other pieces of chicken, which the customer claimed also contained the same обнаруженные elements, contrary to the staff's implication that it was an isolated incident. The customer mentioned remaining calm throughout the interaction, which they reportedly recorded. Following this experience, the reviewer looked up images of fly eggs and concluded that their initial identification was correct. As a result of this incident, the customer stated they would not be returning to Amy's Peking Palace.

Adding to these concerns, another recent review paints an alarming picture of the restaurant's environment. This reviewer explicitly stated that the premises had "bugs all over." They reported seeing roaches, an unidentified beetle, and ants while waiting to pick up a takeout order. Due to these observations, the customer decided to leave without taking their order and explicitly stated that they did not eat from the establishment.

These two recent reviews raise significant concerns regarding the food safety and hygiene practices at Amy's Peking Palace. The first review details a customer's direct experience of allegedly finding fly eggs in their food, leading to illness. The second review describes the presence of multiple types of pests within the restaurant premises, further suggesting potential issues with sanitation and pest control.

Given the seriousness of these allegations, local users seeking a Chinese Restaurant in Sonoma should exercise extreme caution and carefully consider these recent experiences before deciding to dine at or order from Amy's Peking Palace. The information presented in these reviews suggests potential risks to food safety and hygiene that may be of significant concern to prospective customers.

It is important to note that this introduction is based solely on the information available in the provided customer reviews. No additional information or statements from the restaurant itself are included. The aim is to provide an objective summary of the publicly available feedback to inform local users.

Prospective customers may want to consider seeking alternative Chinese dining options in the Sonoma area that have received more positive and reassuring recent reviews regarding food quality, hygiene, and pest control. In conclusion, based on the recent online feedback, Amy's Peking Palace at 500 W Napa St Ste 546, Sonoma, CA, has been the subject of serious allegations concerning food contamination and pest infestation. Local users are strongly advised to take these reviews into account when considering this Chinese Restaurant for their dining needs.

I have been coming to Amy’s for many years, the food had been good despite there being rumors of questionable quality of the food and this Wednesday I can confirm the food is not okay. After eating half of a medium sized box of sweet and sour chicken I discovered fly eggs inside of the chicken and peaking out of it. I threw up and have had bad stomach pains. I’m terrified to just think about how much of this disgusting food I’ve eaten. I went back to Amy’s to tell them and they themselves said they didn’t know what it was but they would give me my money back, a new order, or free food but I refused it all. The cook tried to persuade me it was normal and possible flour eggs or corn starch that wasn’t mixed well but we all know it isn’t, they opened up a few piece of the chicken to show me it was the same but clearly it wasn’t. I remained calm and friendly through out the whole ordeal which is recorded, uneasy about the situation I looked up fly eggs at home and YES! Amy’s Peaking Palace served chicken and maybe more food infested with fly eggs. Definitely will never go again especially after how untrue their statement of explanation was.
