Amazing Teriyaki Japanese Grill Express

This first experience, while brief, was just okay from start to finish. I ordered by phone and the guy who picked up didn’t sound too enthused to be taking orders. I get there and the guy I spoke with on the phone and a woman near the stove, who I’m assuming is the owner, both didn’t look thrilled to have another customer there, almost as if I was intruding by giving them more work to do or something. Sorry for, I don’t know, patronizing your business? What really stuck out was the absolutely filthy payment keypad at the counter. I mean it was covered in black gunk. Leaving something like that on display *and* for your customers to touch says a lot about how you much you care about them. I looked around at the kitchen and dining areas, which appeared to be clean, but I really questioned if I should eat there after seeing that. I got some Fried Chicken Noodles. It was alright. Minimal flavor, a little greasy and the chicken was cut up into small bits instead of actual pieces. Although the miso soup was yummy, and they give you a nice sized portion. It was still super hot by the time I got home too. Overall, not the worst, but probably won’t be back. I don’t understand why these companies keep opening businesses in communities they care nothing about.

Food was delicious, customer service was great. The Sushi! California Rolls with Spicy Mayo & Teriyaki. Dipped in the yum yum sauce 👌🏾delicious. One of my favorite spots now

Ok.. This is my first time here. 11:22 on a Wednesday. The first thing I noticed is that the store is IMMACULATELY clean!!!!! I believe I beat the lunch rush but I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki special for 7.99. The chicken was cooked as soon as I ordered it and I like that it wasn’t just sitting there. It was fresh and piping hot. The food was great. .. I put some of that yum yum sauce on it and it set that thang off!!! I was so pleased with the experience I decided to write this review in the store. This is a lokey spot that you need to try out. I work 5 mins from here and I will be back.

The chicken teriyaki and edamame were delicious! Great prices for the amount of food you receive. I called in my order and it was hot and ready when it was picked up. Store was crowded, but atmosphere and service was good!

Really good- great prices. We got Habachi shrimp, terakyi chicken, cali roll, 2 miso soups, and crab Rangoon all for about $34. Everything tasted better than I expected. The miso soup was amazing and a big portion for just $2.
