Customer Reviews
Aman restaurant offers an upscale fine dining experience with an inviting ambiance and attentive service, making it a great choice for group outings or special occasions. The decor is elegant and sets the tone for an elevated dining experience. However, when it comes to the food, the flavors fell short of expectations. The vegan tandoori lacked the authentic depth and texture typically associated with this dish, leaving it underwhelming. Additionally, the spice levels seemed significantly toned down; an “8” on their spice scale felt closer to a mild 2-3 on an Indian taste scale. On the bright side, the service and overall atmosphere left a positive impression, and I’ll likely return to try their curries next time to better understand their flavor profile. While the presentation and setting are noteworthy, the restaurant could benefit from refining its flavors to better resonate with traditional Indian cuisine.
NYE is one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year, and Aman’s nailed it tonight. Food, service, everything was phenomenal! We were a group of 5. Started with the Dad’s Tandoori Wings(!!!!) and Maru Bhajia. Both so good, the maru bhajia was a great appetizer especially for my mom who doesn’t do spicy food—also, we ate some of the maru before I took the photo, it was a good portion! And the wings were the best chicken wings any of us have had—the smoky flavor from the tandoori oven permeated throughout all of the meat. Then, we had the Lamb Korma and Madra’s Coconut Chicken(!!!!) which were both absolutely amazing. Great flavor to both of them and the meat was tender. We had chicken biryani, bullet naan(spicy and delicious), and butter naan which were all great complements to the curry dishes. We also had the salmon tandoori, which was a very generous portion for a seafood dish—mom was happy again. For the spice lovers, we had the Dad’s Mishkaki which was another star of the show. Saag paneer, you can never go wrong. Gotta put something green on the plate, so you can say you got your vegetables lol! But that was also delicious and flavorful of course, with a generous amount of paneer. For dessert, we shared the Gulab Jamun (always good) and the Kheer. If you are new to Indian food, gulab jamun is a great dessert to try. Overall, this was a great experience. I wish I remembered our server’s name to give her the credit she deserves for rocking it on a busy night. We were surprised by how quick all the food came out, but we were a 6:00pm reservation so that probably worked to our advantage. I also appreciate that the website and menu are very transparent when it comes to things like the automatic gratuity and the table reservation time limit. I can tell that the leaders of this restaurant know what they’re doing! Our family will be back. Thank you for a great night out.
My wife and I still love coming back to this place to dine. The food is flavorful and spicy to your desire. Best outdoor seating!! Don't forget the desserts. Their ice cream is from Banks, so you know it's good They also added cocktails too Make reservation..This place gets busy
I visited this spot after several friends highly recommended it, and I decided to bring a good group along. The first impression was stellar—its curb appeal on Main Street in Emmaus is hard to miss, especially with its festive holiday decorations and glowing lights. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and enticing aroma of fresh, vibrant dishes set the tone for the evening. Our 5 PM reservation was honored promptly, and we were seated almost immediately. The host greeted us with warmth and charisma, making us feel like long-lost family. We were seated near the kitchen entrance, a fortunate spot as we got to see steaming plates of food passing by, building up our anticipation. The experience started on a high note with chilled glass bottles of water that were consistently refilled throughout the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the Chicken Pakora, Maru Bhajia, and Tandoori Wings. The Chicken Pakora was served with three distinct sauces: a refreshing cilantro-based green sauce, a light yogurt-like white sauce, and a sweet, almost candied Polynesian-style sauce. The chicken itself was lightly fried, tender, and delicious. The Tandoori Wings were a highlight—crispy, lightly breaded, and bursting with flavor. Served steaming hot with fresh lemon wedges, they offered a perfect balance of texture and seasoning. However, the standout appetizer was the Maru Bhajia, a Kenyan-inspired snack. Thinly sliced potatoes coated in spicy gram flour and fried to airy, crispy perfection—these were utterly addictive and impossible to stop eating. For mains, our table indulged in a variety of dishes, including the Panjabi Goat Curry, which featured hearty, bone-in cuts of goat simmered in a rich, spice-laden sauce. The Lamb Seekh Kabab and Tandoori Murg (whole bird) were also notable, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The two stars of the evening, however, were the Lamb Kalimirch and Butter Chicken. The Lamb Kalimirch was exceptional, with tender lamb cubes swimming in a creamy black pepper sauce that was surprisingly smooth and subtly spicy. But the true magnum opus of the meal was undoubtedly the Butter Chicken. This dish was sheer mastery—heavenly chunks of chicken stewed in a signature buttery tomato sauce. Each bite was an indulgent symphony of flavor, forcing a smile with every taste. It was the perfect contrast to the brisk December air outside and the highlight of an already stellar meal. This meal has truly spoiled me, making this spot my new favorite restaurant—not just in Easton but possibly across all of western Pennsylvania. From the thoughtful presentation to the explosion of flavors, every aspect of the experience was unforgettable. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of this incredible cuisine.
It's our tradition to always try a new place on our anniversary. And following our daughter's recommendation, we had to try this place out. All I can say is that it was worth every penny. A big thank you to Nate for your wonderful service. Keep up that cheerful personality, you are going places. And it was nice to have the owner of the place, come to say hello to the guests. Ashante.
