About Almond Express

Almond Express is a Chinese restaurant situated at 2625 Deans Bridge Rd #5 in Augusta, Georgia. Operating within the "Chinese Restaurant" category, Almond Express aims to provide local users with a variety of Chinese cuisine options. Based on recent customer feedback, Almond Express appears to offer a menu that includes popular dishes, generous portion sizes, and flavors that are well-received by patrons.

One customer shared a positive experience with the shrimp with mixed vegetables lunch combo. They specifically highlighted the nice size of the shrimp, the good variety of vegetables included, and the delicious sauce that brought the dish together. This positive feedback indicates that Almond Express offers well-prepared lunch options that customers would be inclined to order again.

Another customer ordered the Sesame Chicken with Beef Fried Rice and Two Egg Rolls and expressed genuine enjoyment of all the components of their meal. They noted the satisfying taste of the Sesame Chicken, the Beef Fried Rice, and the Egg Rolls. Furthermore, this reviewer commented on the substantial portion sizes, suggesting that a single order could potentially provide leftovers for one to two days, depending on individual appetite. This feature of generous portions is a significant positive aspect that could appeal to many customers looking for good value.

While the food quality and quantity received positive remarks, one recurring issue mentioned by the second reviewer pertains to the indoor temperature of the restaurant, which they described as "cold." This is a point of discomfort that potential dine-in customers might want to consider. The reviewer also suggested a potential improvement for customers who opt to wait in their vehicles for their takeout orders: a text notification system to inform them when their food is ready. This indicates that Almond Express likely offers takeout services, and while the food preparation time was not mentioned as a problem in this review, the suggestion for a text notification system implies that customers might sometimes wait outside for their orders.

Despite the comment about the indoor temperature, the overall sentiment of the second review is positive, primarily due to the good quality and large portions of the food, which earned a "Thumbs Up" from the customer. This positive experience led the reviewer to state their intention to return to Almond Express to try other dishes offered on the menu, indicating a satisfactory first impression and an interest in exploring more of what the restaurant has to offer.

As a "Chinese Restaurant," Almond Express likely offers a range of familiar dishes that are popular in American-Chinese cuisine. These typically include various chicken, beef, pork, and seafood preparations, along with different styles of fried rice and noodle dishes. Appetizers such as egg rolls, spring rolls, and perhaps dumplings are also common offerings. The positive review of the shrimp with mixed vegetables and the Sesame Chicken suggests that Almond Express has some well-executed classic dishes.

The environment of Almond Express is only briefly touched upon in the reviews. The mention of a cold indoor temperature suggests that the dining area might not always be optimally comfortable. However, without further information, it's difficult to provide a comprehensive description of the restaurant's ambiance and decor. Potential dine-in customers might want to be aware of this comment about the temperature.

Services offered by Almond Express appear to include both dine-in and takeout. The suggestion for a text notification for takeout orders indicates that they accommodate customers who prefer to pick up their food. While delivery services are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, it is possible that they offer this service directly or through third-party platforms. Customers interested in delivery options may need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire.

Features of Almond Express that can be gleaned from the reviews include the use of good-sized shrimp and a variety of vegetables in their dishes, delicious sauces that enhance the flavors, and notably generous portion sizes that offer good value. The positive feedback on multiple dishes (shrimp with mixed vegetables, sesame chicken, beef fried rice, and egg rolls) suggests a consistent level of quality across different menu items. The willingness of a satisfied customer to return and try other dishes indicates a positive overall impression of the food.

Promotional information is not included in the provided reviews. Local users interested in any special offers, discounts, or new menu items at Almond Express should contact them directly at (706) 790-4775 or +1 706-790-4775. They may also have a menu available online through various platforms or their own website (if one exists), which could provide information on current pricing and any ongoing promotions.

In conclusion, Almond Express at 2625 Deans Bridge Rd #5 in Augusta, GA, seems to be a Chinese restaurant that focuses on providing tasty food with generous portions. Based on the available customer reviews, dishes like the shrimp with mixed vegetables and sesame chicken have been well-received. A potential drawback for dine-in customers might be the reported cold indoor temperature. However, the positive feedback on the food quality and quantity suggests that Almond Express is worth considering for both takeout and potentially dine-in, especially for those who appreciate good value and flavorful Chinese cuisine. Local users are encouraged to explore their menu and perhaps contact the restaurant directly for any information regarding delivery services or current promotions.

Ordered the Sesame Chicken with Beef Fried Rice with Two Egg Rolls. Truly enjoyed Everything. The Sesame Chicken, The Beef Fried Rice, and. The Egg Roll. The food came in a big enough portion that, depending upon your appetite, you'll either have left overs for later on, the next day, or the next two days. The inside temperature is a common issue amongst the customers... It's chold, Momma, lol. If they could send a text to customers who decide to wait in their vehicle for the food, it could be a plus. But, all in all, Good Food in a Big Portion always gets a Thumbs Up, so there's that. I'll definitely come back again other food offered on the menu.

I’ve been going here since I was a child. It’s was the best Chinese spot. Currently the food is nasty and flavorless. It just seems as if they are serving food no effort put in it. The lady up front is the best. Don’t go by the prices online it’s double now.

I would share photos however no one wants to see an empty plate or bones. Their Chinese style wings are amazing I love them and I don't eat out much but every time I do not want to cook and can't decide what to eat I always end up here I always get Szechuan chicken with the lo mein noodles and I am never disappointed

We wanted Chinese food so we decided to try this place out. We went for dinner so it was really busy. I got General Tso. Which states it’s spicy but it wasn’t for me but it can be for someone else. My fiancé got fried rice with wings and he liked it and his daughter got orange chicken and veggies and she enjoyed them as well. I would go back
