Almadinah Market Halal middle eastern food/ Falafel/ Gyro/ Chicken And Rice. Shawarma, lavashak Halalicious, pistachio cream

I can't believe I've never eaten here before. I've lived in the area since 2006. I bought 2 orders of the mixed chicken and lamb over rice and an order of kibbeh. There was a lot of food in one order, you could probably split it if you get it with appetizers. My son and I loved it! I can't wait to go back and try their other food items! They also sell a good variety of middle eastern grocery items and drinks, some/most I've never seen before. Highly recommended. *Edit: I went back and tried the shawerma platter, it was delicious as well. The sauce was soooo good! The portion was large as well. I added the shawerma platter pic. *Edit 6/27/24: Had the falafel in addition to my usual. The falafel was the best I've ever had! It was so crunchy on the outside and so light in the middle. Another awesome dish! I added the falafel pic.

Almadinah Market is a treasure chest of flavors, great atmosphere, and family. You feel right at home here. When I first walked through the doors I was greeted with a lovely smell and Ahmad's bright smile. I have tried just about everything on the menu, there is not an overwhelming amount to choose from so you can tell that the dishes on the menu are specialty quality. My favorite dish to get here is the Chicken and rice with white and red sauce. The flavors are so rich and complex, the ingredients are always fresh, the food is always hot, the service is always above and beyond, Ahmad treats everyone like family. Not to mention you CANNOT beat his prices, such a fair price for a great portion of food. 11/10 recommend to everyone and anyone.

So freaking good! I just had the beef and lamb gyro wrap and it was spectacular! Better than I remember my last nyc gyro. Got the red and the white sause with some extra on the side. Huge portion for the price and tastes so good. Will be ordering again and again and again. I suggest you do too! Bonus, traditional baclava was great.

This is ridiculous!! I went to this place 3 times the past 5 years and the first 2 times I got a yogurt drink and a bread and both were expired! And I wanted to give it another try yesterday and I got a bread and it was GREEN disgusting! NEVER AGAIN.
