I cannot praise this place enough. From the moment my wife and I stepped through the door, we felt truly welcomed. The hostess kindly inquired about our seating preference, indoors or outdoors, displaying a delightful level of hospitality. The ambiance, the background music, and the staff were all exceptional. Our waitress, Angelina, provided attentive service and promptly delivered our drinks, appetizers, and main courses. The food exceeded all expectations. I savored a perfect NY steak while my wife enjoyed the baked salmon. We both shared our dishes, appreciating the chef's culinary expertise in preparing them to perfection. Special mention must be made of the superb chef who truly impressed us with their skills. To complement the meal, the bartender crafted a delicious Pina Colada that I thoroughly enjoyed. I wholeheartedly recommend Alaska Pete's to anyone visiting the Poconos. I look forward to returning time and time again, eager to introduce this gem to friends and family on our next trip. Discovering this place has been a delightful surprise, and I only wish we had found it sooner.

Josh was absolutely amazing. Great service. Was serving 6 tables at once and never missed a beat. Food was deliciously prepared. The filet mignon was like butter. Some of the best French onion soup I’ve ever ever ate. And the lobster tail was amazing.

Our family dined at Alaska Pete's for dinner on my birthday this past Sunday August 4th. We were staying at a nearby resort in East Stroudsburg and we wanted to try this restaurant. The food and service were both good and we would visit again. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We also liked the decor of this place.

This is a very nice restaurant with an accommodating professional wait staff. For starters we had the lobster bisque and while it was flavorful, there was hardly any lobster in it. We ate at an Irish pub in RI that surprisingly enough, had much better lobster bisque than this seafood restaurant does! The entrees were delicious and as you can see from the photos, the Seafood Platter had a really nice sized lobster tail. The crab cakes were wonderful also. Overall this is a great stop if you like seafood. They do have other non-seafood items on the menu. I would certainly skip the lobster bisque though. I have definitely had better.

My fiancée and I recently visited Alaka Pete’s, and we were both really impressed! I ordered the ribs, and they were absolutely delicious—tender, packed with flavor, and perfectly cooked. The presentation was so well done, making the meal look just as great as it tasted. The atmosphere inside was incredible too, with stylish decor and a warm, inviting vibe that made our experience even better. It was a fantastic night out, and we’ll definitely be coming back next time!
