Falafel salad bowl was delicious! The falafel’s are baked and house made. I added sweet potato and quinoa to mine. Staff are nice and welcoming ☺️ Gluten-Free & Vegan 🌱

The people who work here are very sweet and provide great service. This is the only place where I like to eat salads from outside of my home. All the food here is fresh and tasty unlike other places

Food is 🔥🔥🔥 VEGAN options available. So far I’ve had the Bangkok express salad and the spicy Thai peanut wrap. Very fresh and flavorful meals. I will be a regular here. Parking is kind of rough but it’s in the heart of Hartford. Highly recommend ❤️

Updated. In addition to my burrito review below, I must say I really enjoyed their double cheeseburger from their newest resto “Next Door Burger” also inside Hartford’s State House Square. It was juicy, and you can add all the toppings you want. I highly recommend you try it, especially with their next level NDB sauce! 5 stars! I just had Ajamo’s Mexican burrito with turkey bacon, very tasty! Top notch breakfast and salads here in the Heart of Hartford! Shout-out to Christian and everyone at Ajamo! Five stars across the board!

Ajamo is a solid lunch spot in Hartford. I long for the days when the food court was packed with options, and I’m happy to see this place is one of the great food stands that are still going strong at the State House. They serve very fresh salads at generous proportions and have good sandwiches as well. The only critique I’d have is that their lettuce/kale, roasted chicken, and other ingredients are in large chunks and they don’t provide a knife to cut it in smaller pieces. Their flavors are great, but it would be great to have a grilled chicken option in addition to the roasted.
