AJ's on the Bayou

This wonderful place located rigt on the water has amazing views, good food and Carrie’s that AJs spirit. They had free pictures with Santa, really respecting their local community and providing back to the community, just like their donations only Thanksgiving. Their crab dip is pretty good, fish tacos are good but their biscuits and gravy are delicious. Their mixed drinks are pretty good and they have a solid drink selection. I will be back.

Was Great 💯 Our waitress ( Jen very knowledgeable and Friendly. Helpful with places to eat breakfast. Food was high quality and quantity. Fried Oysters for me. Boyfriend had grouper. Really enjoyed. There was Dolphins playing in the water. Couldn’t get a pic.. 👍👍👍

Great food, great views, and great service! Misty was a great server. I ordered water with lemon and my refill, which was a new glass of water, also contained a lemon. Little things like that matter because it's actually a rare thing to get! We were originally sat close to the bar but smokers were making it rough. No trouble moving us to a new table which actually gave us a better view.

Nice outdoor and indoor restaurant. The hostess didn't know what tables were available, and she directed us to go find one. When we sat down, one of the servers told us we had to go back to the hostess to get menus. The food was delicious, but we did order a steak cooled medium rare, and they cooked it well done. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and she made sure we had everything we needed.

I'm not sure where to start, after we were finished with our food it was like pulling teeth to get our check. The food was mediocre at best and super expensive for what we had (50 bucks for some chips, 2 tacos, and a salad) and we were seated in front of a door that led out to the dock where a guide was cleaning fish. I get it, the restaurant is at a dock what do you expect, but the smell of the fish/water was almost too much for us. Maybe this was just a first time coincidence, but I won't be back to find out.
