About Ah Woo Rang 아우랑

Ah Woo Rang 아우랑 is a restaurant located at 449 Broad Ave 2nd Floor, Palisades Park, NJ 07650, USA. They can be contacted at phone number (201) 944-4000 or mobile phone +1 201-944-4000.

Categorized as a Chinese restaurant, Ah Woo Rang 아우랑 appears to offer a fusion of Korean and Chinese culinary styles. Based on customer reviews, the restaurant is appreciated for its nice ambiance and the cordial and patient nature of its servers, with one reviewer noting speedy service and being seated immediately for a Sunday lunch.

However, feedback on the food quality has been mixed. One review mentioned that the jjajamyung noodles were too stringy, the jjampong seafood soup lacked depth in flavor, and the tangsooyook (tsy) was somewhat flavorless and seemed overpriced. Another frequent customer reported a significant change in the taste of the black bean sauce noodle, describing it as more oily with a strange peppery aftertaste. This customer also found the Beef Tangsooyuk to be over-fried and very dry, making it difficult to chew. The Shrimp in Garlic Sauce was the only dish mentioned as tasting normal in this particular order. This customer also expressed disappointment with the unfriendliness of the staff when they raised these concerns, leading them to discontinue their patronage.

A practical tip from one reviewer highlights the limited parking available at the location.

In summary, Ah Woo Rang 아우랑 offers a pleasant dining atmosphere with commendable service. However, recent reviews suggest potential inconsistencies in food quality. Local users may want to consider these points when choosing a Korean-Chinese restaurant in Palisades Park. There is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews.

Cordial servers, nice ambiance, speedy service. My family and I stopped by on a Sunday for lunch and were seated right away. Food left little to be desired but the servers were so kind and patient throughout the dining experience. We ordered the jjajamyung, jjampong, and tangsooyook. The noodles were too stringy and the seafood soup lacked a depth in flavor. The tsy also lacked a bit of flavor and seemed overpriced for the amount you get. Pro-tip: very limited parking. All in all, this is not our go-to Korean Chinese restaurant but the atmosphere was very nice and we did appreciate the lovely service.

I order frequently from this restaurant and we're family of 5 so we order at least $100 everytime. The black bean sauce noodle taste has changed drastically. It's much more oily and has wierd peppery after taste than a month ago. So I called the restaurant and lady supposedly sounding condescending seem like the owner or manager admitted the change but claimed it should taste good. Also the Beef Tangsooyuk was over fried and very dry. It was so tough I couldn't chew without breaking my jaw. The only thing that tasted normal was Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. The lady just said too bad that you don't like our food even after I mentioned I am a frequent customer, she was not at all friendly. So too bad, you lost a large family customer.

Dishes had nice flavor. Very filling with one plate for 2. Some pieces of the 깜풍기 were dry, but the sauce coated it all nicely

Korean style Chinese restaurant. They need to make better Jjajangmyun and Jjambbong. Other dishes are good, but the most famous jjajangmyun and jjambbong taste was awful.

They are located on the second floor in a small plaza. I haven't come here in a long time because I seemingly forgot about them because there are so many abundance of Korean Chinese restaurant these days. We decided to do take out one day because happened to be doing some earn in the plaza. The jajamein is exactly how I remember it to be, good but much more oily then others in the area. The white champon has abundance of seafood and has a rich sea flavor. The fried sweet and sour pork is crispy with a nice tangy flavor. The prices here are higher than most of their competitors in the area (Jajanein is $10, other in the are are $7 or less). Worth trying if you want to compare but not my go to.
