Welcome to Acc Chinese Fast Food, a Chinese restaurant located at 38 S Palm Ave, Alhambra, CA 91801, USA. As a member of the Chinese Restaurant category, Acc Chinese Fast Food aims to provide the Alhambra community with an affordable and quick option for enjoying authentic Chinese cuisine. Based on customer reviews, this establishment offers a mix of praised dishes, efficient service for pickup orders, and a cozy, family-run atmosphere.

Operating as a Chinese fast food restaurant, Acc Chinese Fast Food likely focuses on providing a streamlined service model where food is prepared quickly and efficiently. The menu probably includes a variety of popular Chinese dishes that are well-suited for fast preparation, such as fried rice, noodle dishes, and various stir-fried meat and vegetable options. The mention of "authentic Chinese dishes" suggests that they aim to offer flavors and preparations that are true to Chinese culinary traditions, rather than solely catering to a Westernized palate.

Customer reviews offer a range of insights into the dining experience at Acc Chinese Fast Food. A recurring theme is affordability, with one reviewer explicitly stating it as a positive aspect. The combination of "affordable, quick, yummy" suggests that this restaurant strikes a balance between price, speed of service, and taste, which is often a key draw for fast food establishments. The description as a "hole in the wall" implies a more casual and perhaps unassuming setting, which can often be a hallmark of hidden culinary gems offering authentic flavors.

One specific dish that receives high praise is the "Salt and Pepper Pork Chop." A reviewer notes that it is "well seasoned, crispy, and only $10 with rice on the side," highlighting its value for money. The reviewer also mentions the presence of bones but still deems it "worth it," indicating a satisfying taste and quality that outweighs this minor inconvenience. The intention to return and try their "bbq" suggests that they offer other appealing menu items beyond the pork chop.

The fact that Acc Chinese Fast Food is described as a "small family business" adds a personal touch and often resonates with customers who prefer to support local enterprises. This can also contribute to a more intimate and community-oriented dining experience.

Another review provides a more detailed breakdown of various aspects. The food quality is described as ranging from "Okay to excellent," suggesting some variability in the consistency of different dishes. However, the "Good price" and "excellent" "serving size to price ratio" are consistent positives, reinforcing the affordability and generous portions offered. The location is noted as "cozy," with a "decent seating quantity" and "decent seating quality," indicating a small but adequate space for dining in.

The same reviewer also points out that "The food taste varies," which is something potential customers should be aware of. A specific negative comment was about a "tasteless" soy sauce packet, although this is a minor detail. On a more positive note, "The lady who works the front is nice," and "Service is great," indicating friendly and efficient customer interaction.

A separate review recounts an initial issue with responsiveness upon entering, but the reviewer ultimately found that "The food exceeded my expectations and is better than most restaurants." This suggests that while there might be occasional staffing or communication challenges, the quality of the food itself is a significant strength. The reviewer was also surprised by the lack of customers, which could be due to its "hole in the wall" nature or limited visibility.

Another customer shared a mixed experience with the chicken fried rice, finding it "mediocre" on a second order after an initially excellent experience. This again highlights the potential for variability in food quality and consistency, particularly for certain dishes. The reviewer suggests that consistent quality in dishes like the fried rice could significantly boost the restaurant's popularity.

Affordable, quick, yummy hole in the wall serving authentic Chinese dishes. Called to order and pickup, ready in 10 mins. Their Salt and Pepper Pork Chop is well seasoned, crispy, and only $10 with rice on the side. Note: there’s some bones but still worth it! Will definitely come back and try their bbq.

Small family business; come support them. Okay to excellent food!!! Good price!!! The serving size to price ratio is excellent. Cozy location. Decent seating quantity. Decent seating quality. The food taste varies. The soy sauce packet was tasteless and a waste of money for the business. The lady who works the front is nice. Service is great. I came in calling out if anyone was here. No one answered for the longest time. I could hear the cook was busy cooking. I'm not sure why but the other staff were busy; the lady was nice when she came out. The food exceeded my expectations and is better than most restaurants. I'm surprised this place doesn't have more customers. I'd likely visit when I'm nearby :) The 2nd time I ordered chicken fried rice, it was mediocre...if they could consistently make the fried rice as good as the 1st visit, they would have a line out the door and people reserving them for weekend catering!!! (depicted is chicken fried rice)

Acc was a pleasant surprise. Ordered the Pork chop spicy pepper salted plate. Oh man, fortunately this was so good. The salty garlic flavor on it is worth it. The meat felt fresh and juicy. The name doesn’t help this small restaurant because Chinese fast food restaurants they all taste the same and usually their food to me is disappointing. They didn’t let me seat inside despite having tables open. “Go eat in your car” the lady told me lol!!! but the reason why they don’t get my five stars is because they don’t have pictures on the menu and in my case I ordered totally on the blind. Some marketing is needed here!!

As much as I want to support this local mom&pop restaurant and stores, I feel the public deserve an honest review. About this place: 1.) The 2% fee is added after tax, meaning you are paying additional fee for tax and food. 2.) Overall very salty food, and meat (ordered beef and duck) taste gamey. So I'm still debating if I should come back for veggies only. Only came here once. I was going visit at least a few times before the end of purchase before posting a review. Because I can tell they did their best to keep this place clean and neat (although the overall grading is B, but that probably has something to do with the hanging pig LOL), up to date (accept credit card with a fee), and the price seems fair. However, I don't like the way things end, and can't vouch for both the food and the prices shown. So here's my experience and the rating. I ordered the stirred fried A-veggie with minced garlic, a couple of duck head, wings, collar, and beef type trio. Had a little chat and feel connected with the auntie lady and she said my total is $30ish but she'll round down to $28. My math is bad But it doesn't sound too far off, so I agreed. She was happy and want to give me free rice, I told her I don't need that. While waiting for food, I did the calculation and my total should be $23.79 before tax and fee. I didn't know where the $30 cam from. I only get to confirm the two main dishes because another comes for a Togo order. The answer I got was I forgot the tax. I didn't think she understand me, and she told me to be happy to end the conversation. I really feel for them, so I smile and left. Oh, and very little beef tripe; ended up dumping 70% of that dish. It's rough for small restaurants to survive nowadays. And they must have something good to survive until now. But I don't feel like not able to trust the price signs and checking numbers over and over again, so, maybe you'll have better luck than I. Be happy and have a good day!

Family owned and operated for 30 years, great family btw! Their restaurant is quite small (5 tables max capacity 25-30) and they have a restroom. The food is very authentic, traditional to the country, solid 8/10.
