Customer feedback on Abacus Inn Chinese Restaurant's meal delivery service is varied. One customer expressed that it has become their new favorite place, praising the delicious and well-prepared food. They specifically mentioned the shrimp fried rice, egg rolls, and General TSO chicken. They were also impressed with the completeness of their takeaway order, which included ample utensils, napkins, soy sauce, and mustard. The food arrived hot, and they indicated they would be returning and might request duck sauce on their next order.

Another customer had a mixed experience. They found the staff to be friendly, but the service was a bit slow. While their sister and brother-in-law enjoyed their meals (Sesame chicken and Chicken curry), the reviewer found their meat (likely in the Chicken teriyaki dish, as they listed the items ordered) to be a little tough. However, they did find the shrimp appetizer to be very good.

Abacus Inn Chinese Restaurant offers a range of Chinese dishes for delivery, including options like shrimp fried rice, General TSO chicken, sesame chicken, chicken curry, shrimp appetizer, and chicken teriyaki. While one customer highlights the excellent food and complete takeaway service, another mentions slower service and issues with the tenderness of the meat in one of the dishes. Potential customers may want to consider these points when ordering.

First time at Abacus Inn and it was a very good experience! Service was on point. The food was really good as well. The quality of the dishes was on point- I felt like I was eating more meat vs the breading lol - I would say, they could use a some-sort of music playing in the background though.. ๐Ÿ˜… overall, the food was good and definitely would go again ๐Ÿ˜. Aside from that, it's next to Lenny's burger lol 1. Almond chicken 2. Volcano chicken style 3. Beef w/broccoli 4. Lemon chicken All from the lunch menu that comes with fried rice/or white, soup, egg roll, wonton ๐Ÿ‘

We come here a lot and have been for the past 5 years and everytime the service, food and music is top notch. AJ is usually our waiter, and he's amazing and makes the best Zombies! I'm not big on white rice, but I absolutely LOVEA theirs. The Curry Chicken and Beef Chowmein were phenomenal. Also, tonight they had such an awesome playlist going with all types of music, but the sneaky halloween songs had us SO excited. Love this place SO much. โค๏ธ

To preface my review, I had my order fulfilled through Uber Eats. I ordered 2 lunch combos, the orange chicken and the Abacus Special Chicken as well as the BBQ rib. The orange chicken sauce was very flavorful and the chicken used was nice and tender, not dry. I can tell the sauce here is not some generic orange chicken sauce, they definitely added some extra spices to it and it among the most flavorful pieces of orange chicken I have had. My only problem with the dish is that the chicken wasn't crispy anymore. I understand that with fried chicken that's covered in sauce, the timeline to where it loses it's crispiness is fleeting the moment it is boxed up, but I have had chicken at other places like June House and Liyuen that have survived 30+ minute journeys that still maintain their crispiness. This leads me to the Abacus Special Chicken, it's another fried chicken dish tossed in sauce. The preparation of the chicken is different here as it appears to be filets of chicken that's been fried, cut up, and tossed in sauce. Unlike the orange chicken, the integrity of the crispiness remained intact and the sauce is more of a savory sauce than sweet, but I didn't find it as flavorful as the orange chicken. Both dishes to me are about a 4/5. The spring rolls and the fried wontons (just fried wonton wrapper, no cream cheese inside) as part of the lunch combos were really good, although as they are pretty common staples of an Americanized Chinese restaurant I didn't expect anything less than good. 5/5 Lastly is the BBQ rib. For 11 bucks I got 4 pieces of rib, 2 smaller pieces and 2 bigger pieces. Not the best of value in my opinion, but how was the flavor? If you came in expecting char siu flavor, it's definitely not that. It's sweeter and has a bit of a sour taste (ketchupy) that I don't find present in traditional char siu. Authenticity aside, I think it's a interesting take on Chinese BBQ and if you go in not expecting anything authentic, it was ok, but there's better places if you are wanting Chinese BBQ, 3/5 Overall I will return but will probably skip the ribs next time.
