Aamantran Indian Cuisine

Was sooo good!! Before I left for colorado long time ago I came here often. It is still very good allways fresh. The lamb Tikka was soo tender and full of flavor.Naan is sooo light and crispy some of best ever had..The chicken was great a lip bit dry today but still good..Come and try this great food if you get a chance!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aamantran Indian Cuisine located at 1594 Lakewood Rd, Toms River, NJ 08755, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly stands out for its remarkable hospitality and delicious food. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service. The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. One of the first things I noticed was the ample parking, which made our visit hassle-free right from the start. One of the key highlights for me and my family was that Aamantran offers halal food. This is very important to us, and we were thrilled to find such a great restaurant that caters to our dietary needs. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, all of which were flavorful and delicious. Every bite was a testament to the skill and passion of the kitchen staff. What truly made our visit memorable was the personal touch from the owner. The father and son duo were tremendous, sharing fascinating stories about the history of the location. It was wonderful to see such a humble and passionate family running the restaurant. The owner’s ability to speak multiple languages was impressive and added to the welcoming atmosphere. It felt like we were guests in their home rather than just customers. The servers and staff were just amazing. They were attentive, courteous, and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their service was impeccable, making us feel valued and well taken care of. In addition to the fantastic food and service, the ambiance of Aamantran Indian Cuisine is warm and inviting. The decor reflects a rich cultural heritage, enhancing the overall dining experience. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and exudes a comfortable and welcoming vibe. I am already looking forward to my next visit to South Jersey so I can dine at Aamantran Indian Cuisine again. This restaurant has left a lasting impression on me and my family, and we are grateful for the wonderful experience. Thank you to the owners and the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable.

What a disappointment. They forgot about us! Nobody attended to us unless I got up and gently reminded them at every turn. Unprofessional. DRY, flavorless, old “tandoori chicken” that was not made fresh because THEY FORGOT OUR ORDER FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF.. What’s most astounding are the replies from management to many of these negative reviews. I was craving Indian food and decided to take my date to this place. Never again. I will go to a better restaurant. Shame on you people.For your lack of professionalism and for your review replies. SHAME!!

Food is average to good. Good portion size and seems fresh and made to order. Owners were horst and recommendations and gave good advice. The service is weird. They are overly aggressive about clearing plates. The atmosphere is a bit dated. Improving service and response time would make this go from decent to great as te food seemed decent.

New to the area and just so glad to have an Indian restaurant I can eat at that I don't have to worry about the spice. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and had the heat adjusted to where they liked it. We will be coming back!
