This Chinese Restaurant is unexpectedly situated inside a corner store that also offers drinks, snacks, a few grocery items, and select hardware. Customer reviews highlight the tasty Chinese food, with one reviewer noting, "They have tasty Chinese food in the middle of a corner store. What more could you want!?" Another customer specifically praised the sesame chicken and fried rice, mentioning the heaping portion sizes. The food is generally reported to be prepared quickly and enjoyed by those who have tried it.
The environment is described as being within an older country store, and while the outside might appear "a bit rough," customers have noted that the kitchen is kept clean and that the food is prepared with care. The dining space is not spacious, with one table that can seat about six people available for those who choose to eat there. This suggests a more casual, perhaps take-away focused service, although dine-in is an option.

The friendly service and quick preparation times are also mentioned positively. They have tasty Chinese food in the middle of a corner store. What more could you want!? 🫶 Everyone is was with enjoyed their food. They were friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. The outside looks a bit rough, but they kept the kitchen clean and put some love into the food. Definitely worth a try if you're craving Chinese food.
This is an unexpected restaurant find in a old country store that has drinks, snacks, a few grocery and select hardware items. This place is run by a small family they serve Chinese food as well as hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, hamburger steaks and a philly steak and cheese sub just to name a few. My friend ordered the sesame chicken and fried rice both had heeping size portions. I ordered the philly steak and cheese with peppers and onions and fries! Both of us were amazed at how quickly it was ready and how good the food was. We both were stuffed afterwards. I had no idea there was even a restaurant in back of this little store but if you are ever in the area and this little hole in the wall ...mom n pop shop is great for a bite on the go. Not spacious but, they do have a table that seats about 6 if you choose to eat there.
I told my guy it was HIS turn to plan a "food night". We both have been craving Chinese for a few days. We also needed to do our laundry, there's our dinner spot had to be in the area of our laundry mat. Prerequisites: He looked for a menu, and the golden rule: if you look at Google pictures and there are NO Chinese people posting pictures, it's NOT legit food. A to Z Grocery and Chinese Food reminded me of the family owned establishments I'd visit when abroad. You could go to a restaurant, but the real deal would be in the back of a corner "everything" shop. What to expect: A small hole in the wall place with everything you need, even a slot machine in the back. The place had a steady stream of people coming in to get whatever they needed from cigarettes to chips and baking soda. They even make "American Food" hamburgers, fries, etc. This was straight up in the middle of nowhere, and looked kinda busted from outside. Okaaaay, I'm down 100%! We walked in to two white folding tables in the center of a small "everything" market. I knew I was in the right place. I asked the young man at the checkout counter, "are you still serving food?" It was 15 minutes before closing. Yes! I ordered the sweet & sour chicken and Crab Rangoons. (Safe rarely disappointing meal.) 2 minutes later I hear the fryer in the back being slayed over. Noice! Cooked to order. I asked if they had any rooster sauce for sale - my mission to find some after they factory stopped making it over a year ago is real. #facts The young man didn't know what rooster sauce was, but his family member came out with a BIG jar and knew what I was referring to. Those who know, KNOW! HIM:"They don't sell this anymore" ME: "I know!" None for sale, but they gave me a to-go cup full. Awe, how nice! Perfect for my corn beef hash Filipino style I planned to make for my Friday meal. The food came out SUPER hot! FYI this is "American" Chinese food, not the food you'd find in mainland China. I don't think my guy would eat that TBH. Unless it's duck. We got exactly what we were looking for: Hot, fresh, family owned, everything market food. They were closing a few minutes after we were served (9pm). The young man said we can eat, he "wouldn't mind staying after closing". I loved that. Left him a tip just for that. This will be our regular laundry night in Cornelia food spot. The drive to it is off the road - which is something we gravitate toward. Adventure time! I highly recommend A to Z Grocery and Chinese Food if you want quick & fresh American Style Chinese food. REASONS TO VISIT: 1.Reasonable prices 2. Great service 3. Family owned 4. Full menu 5. Decent flavors 6. Legit Chinese corner everything store ambiance
Visiting from Orlando, FL -- Loved it! Don't let the shop fool you, the food was incredible, and great for the price! Can't wait to return!
I just happened to have found this place while traveling up the highway and I must say that the food was exemplary! Just look at the pictures! (Hunan Beef) The young man at the register and the cook immediately greeted me and were absolutely top notch while answering the questions that I had about their menu. Whether you are a local or just happen to be passing by, you owe it to yourself to make a stop at this little gem!
