This is my family first time here at A Pot KBBQ. Honestly I was confused with the signage thinking it was K-Pot. Similar business model except you get traditional Chinese buffet hot food. I called it Chinese food on steroids with Korean BBQ and Hot pot as a kicker. If you have been to K-Pot, you are use to having the waiter brings your food to the table. After my experience here, I wouldn’t come back. It’s a lot of work just to get settle and you have to cook your own food. Took 15 mins just to set my table with all the BBQ meats, hot pot frozen seafood, sauce, and Vegetables. I had to get enough for a family of 4. I felt like I went to work lol. Not feasible if you hungry and went out to dinner and avoid cooking and working. That is just my take. Other then that there are bubble tea drinks which I think is sugar water. Way too sweet and probably not good for kids. Their grand opening discount is 15% off if you post photo and their business card on social media. Not a bad deal for promoting their business. Overall you do get the best bang for your bucks in terms of Korean food and Chinese food together. I think K-Pot is more authentic because the bulgogi is marinated better and they have all the Korea side items that you are accustomed to. I don’t like bashing anyone business but I also wanted to give my honest opinion as a food reviewer.

This is my first time coming here, and I have to say that this place did not disappoint! We didn’t have to wait at all to be seated and our server Lina was so kind and attentive. She really helped us when we had questions. Using the hot pot was easy and there were plenty of selections of meats and vegetables to choose from. I will definitely be coming back here again…and again and again. Come check this place out!

The restaurant is huge, offering tons of options for both hotpot and BBQ. There’s even a hot bar with plenty of sushi and boba options to choose from. My friends and I appreciated being able to select exactly what we wanted and how much, unlike at other restaurants. They’re currently offering 15% off if you show proof you posted them on social media, and also 10% off for students, & first responders. In no particular order, here are some experiences my party and I didn’t enjoy: 1. Every hotpot broth we tried was nearly flavorless and tasted watered down. Between the five of us, we had the Mala spicy, Tom Yum, Herbal, and Bone Broth. All of us agreed that the soups were not great. 2. Some of the hot food items were cold. 3. The bulgogi for the grill was also flavorless, despite being marinated in sauce. 4. Our server would irregularly come to cook on our grill for us and stop us from cooking. At the same time, he would disappear, leading to burnt meat on the grill. 5. Before allowing us to leave our table to check out the food options, he gave us a “talk” about not going straight to the bar to grab food, essentially scolding us about food waste. While the message had good intentions, it came across as a bit condescending and strange.
