About A&M Atlantic Seafood, Inc
A&M Atlantic Seafood, Inc, located at 724 W King St, Cocoa, FL 32922, USA, is primarily a seafood market that also offers cooked meals. While categorized as a potential option within a platform that might include Chinese Restaurants, it's important to note that their primary focus, based on available information, is seafood.
According to customer reviews, A&M Atlantic Seafood offers the unique service of allowing customers to purchase seafood and have it cooked on-site. One reviewer highlighted a positive experience, praising Gretchen for her helpfulness and the deliciousness of the battered catfish and shrimp lunch, which came with fries and two flavorful house-made sauces (a lightly sweet cocktail sauce and a savory tartar sauce). The freshness and flavor of the seafood were particularly commended, even being enjoyable without the sauces. The reviewer also appreciated the unsalted, crisp, and creamy fries, and the not overly sweet lemonade, describing the overall experience as comparable to a sit-down restaurant with fast-food convenience and a great price.
However, another customer shared a significantly negative experience. This involved an incorrect order, a disagreement with the cashier (Gale) regarding the meal's inclusions, and frustration over having to pay extra for the correct item. The situation escalated when the customer paid with cash and experienced a delay and attitude from the owner when requesting a receipt and change. This reviewer also mentioned concerns about potential credit/debit card fees and the lack of military discounts, ultimately recommending other local businesses due to the negative order accuracy and customer service encountered.
Based on the available reviews, A&M Atlantic Seafood, Inc. features fresh seafood and offers a cook-to-order service. A standout feature mentioned is the perceived high quality and flavor of their seafood dishes and house-made sauces by one customer. However, another customer reported significant issues with order accuracy and customer service. Information regarding the environment of the establishment, specific features beyond the seafood and cooking service, or any promotional information is not available in the provided reviews. Given the primary focus on seafood and the mixed customer service experiences, local users in US seeking a traditional Chinese restaurant may need to consider if this aligns with their preferences.

Customer Reviews
Go here! Find her! Eat this! THIS is just what I needed! Atlantic is a place to buy seafood where they will also cook a meal for you. Gretchen is fabulous! She kindly helped me with choices and was friendly and proficient. The lunch they prepared was battered catfish & shrimp with fries and two tasty sauces. The catfish & shrimp were amazingly fresh, moist, and flavorful. They came with cocktail & tarter sauces to top them off, yet their flavor was great without them. The sauces must be house made. They were so goood! The cocktail sauce was lightly sweet. The tarter sauce was savory. They are both thinner than usual and I liked it a lot. The fries had little or no salt. That allowed the flavor of the potato and oil to shine. The fries were crisp and creamy, which is my favorite combination. Every single bite elicited an involuntary "MMM" ! It was that GOOD! Chose lemonade. It's great without being overly sweet. I'm so glad I stopped here. The food was as good as you find at sit-down restaurants, with fast food convenience and a great price. This humble place NAILED IT!
First, things were going well. I ordered food for my great uncle and me and waited for it to be ready. I asked if the fish and shrimp lunch meal came with fries, and the lady in the front (Gale) said no. I ordered onion rings (which were ridiculously $7.00, but since my great-uncle wanted them...I got them). She brought my food out: one meal was correct, and one was wrong. I explained that I asked for the fish and shrimp meal and ordered onion rings because of what she said (the wrong meal came out with fries, which let me know it was wrong). She wanted to argue with me up and down about what I said. I decided to pay the difference in the meals so my uncle could get the shrimp (if it were up to me, I wouldn't give them a penny more). At that point, I was frustrated because my food was getting cold because the cashier had heard what she wanted. But it gets worse. I paid the difference with cash, but unfortunately, I didn't have the exact change. The owner takes my money, closes the cash register, and tries to walk off. I then called her back to the front and requested my receipt and my change. She gets an attitude and literally takes almost ten minutes trying to come up with a receipt and locating my change. The lady who couldn't take my order correctly and heard what she wanted returned to the front, trying to be snappy. I told them to just give me my money and my receipt so I could leave. The moral of the story is that not only can they not get orders correct, but they also try to be slick and keep your money. I won't be returning. I'm also thankful I didn't pay with my card because I don't trust them (they also still attach the debit/credit card fees). Also, if you are military, they don't provide discounts like everyone else in the area. I recommend driving a little further and supporting another local business.
So I paid $17 for this, I finished it and I'm still hungry. I've been coming to this place since the '90s and oh has it changed. They could have kept these two pieces of bread and gave me some more coleslaw or some fresh fries. I don't usually make reviews like this but I had to show what I received the fries old and the smallest pieces of catfish I've ever seen. The Building looks horrible the display cases are empty Dusty. It just seems like the owner doesn't take pride in her business. I won't be coming back to Atlantic. 😔
Can't speak about other dishes that are served there but my whiting dinner was absolutely no good. It was flavorless, dry and almost over fried. I'm only speaking about my dinner plate on my visit. The coleslaw was good so we're the fries. Maybe I'll give them a chance to make it up to me. Not so soon though. Customer service was good it was close to closing times too. So I don't know if that makes a difference.
It's a place to order and pick up your food. A few chairs to sit while waiting for it to be prepared fresh. Their side herbal butter was amazing on the food. Need to try them out more. Service can be a little wait, but be patient they are friendly and busy.
