Welcome to A & C Chinese Fast Food, located at 2200 Beatties Ford Rd E, Charlotte, NC 28216, USA. For local residents in Charlotte seeking affordable and generously portioned Chinese takeout, A & C Chinese Fast Food presents itself as a noteworthy option. You can place your order or inquire about their menu by calling (704) 398-2009 or their mobile number +1 704-398-2009.

As a Chinese Fast Food establishment, A & C focuses on providing value-priced meals in a takeout format. According to customer reviews, one of the key features of A & C Chinese Fast Food is its affordability. One reviewer explicitly stated, "The food is value priced!!" It is important to note that A & C operates as a "CASH ONLY" business, so customers should be prepared with cash for their purchases. The restaurant is also highlighted as a "family worked business," which suggests a personal touch in their operations. Customers are advised to be patient and understanding, as they might take a moment to answer the phone or fulfill orders.

Regarding specific menu items, one reviewer shared their experiences with several dishes. The chicken wings are described as being cooked "naked with a light sprinkle of salt" and are considered "ok for the price." The rice is noted as being "ok but made with instant rice." The lo mein is said to be "valued with too much soy sauce to color it," with the reviewer expressing a preference for it to be prepared with less soy sauce. On a more positive note, the chicken noodle soup is highly praised as "thick, flavorful and creamy" and a "go to in cold weather or when sick." The sesame chicken is also mentioned as "good" and a "favorite" in the reviewer's household. Overall, this customer concludes that the food is "good for the price," advising others not to expect elaborate additions like bean sprouts, as it is not that type of restaurant, but rather a place that offers good value for what you pay.

Another reviewer expressed initial skepticism towards "super large takeout portions," often associating them with lower quality ingredients. However, this suspicion was not the case with A & C. They felt that "the price accurately corresponds with what you get." This customer recalled receiving a "massive serving of pork fried rice" and an order of sesame chicken for around $20. The pork fried rice was described as filling a "clamshell takeout container" and being "packed full of quality cuts of meat, eggs, and vegetables," leading the reviewer to state they would "certainly be getting this again sometime soon."

The sesame chicken at A & C was noted for being prepared differently than expected, resembling how many other Chinese places serve sweet and sour chicken – as "fried chicken tenders with the sauce on the side." Despite this variation, the reviewer confidently declared it to be "definitely top tier," based on their experience with similar dishes elsewhere.

A significant point highlighted by this second reviewer is A & C's consistent high health inspection ratings. They mentioned often checking restaurant health scores and found that A & C has "consistently scored right around 95+ for several years," which they believe indicates a high level of hygiene. This is a crucial piece of information for local users concerned about the cleanliness and safety of the establishments where they purchase food.

Finally, the second reviewer urged potential customers not to be deterred by the location of the restaurant, stating their opinion that A & C Chinese Fast Food is "one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Charlotte!" This strong endorsement, combined with the details about portion sizes, quality of ingredients in certain dishes, and the impressive health inspection scores, paints a picture of a reliable and value-oriented takeout option in Charlotte.

Based on these reviews, local users can expect A & C Chinese Fast Food to offer value-priced dishes with generous portions. While some items like the rice and lo mein might have aspects that could be improved according to one reviewer, other dishes like the chicken noodle soup and sesame chicken receive positive feedback. The pork fried rice is particularly praised for its quality and quantity. The consistent high health inspection scores suggest a commitment to hygiene, which is a significant plus. The fact that it is a family-run business might contribute to its pricing strategy and the need for patience during busy times. The "CASH ONLY" policy is an important factor to keep in mind.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in any potential deals or specials offered by A & C Chinese Fast Food would need to contact them directly at (704) 398-2009.

In conclusion, A & C Chinese Fast Food in Charlotte, NC, appears to be a solid choice for those seeking affordable and substantial Chinese takeout. While individual preferences on certain dishes may vary, the positive remarks about the pork fried rice, sesame chicken (prepared in a unique style), and the highly praised chicken noodle soup, coupled with the consistently high health inspection ratings, suggest a reliable option for value-conscious customers. The "CASH ONLY" policy and the family-run nature of the business are important aspects to consider. Despite one reviewer's critique of certain dishes, the overall sentiment, especially regarding the value and hygiene, is positive, with one local even considering it one of the best in Charlotte.

The food is value priced!!. CASH ONLY!!!! It’s a family worked business, so don’t rush them or get upset over them not answering give them a minute. There chicken wings are cooked naked with a light sprinkle of salt and ok for the price. The rice is ok but made with instant rice. The lo mein is valued with too much soy sauce to color it I wish they leave it without. I love the chicken noodle soup. Thick, flavorful and creamy it’s our go to in cold weather or when sick. Sesame chicken is good a favorite in our house. Look it’s good for the price don’t go looking to add beans sprouts it’s not that kind of restaurant.

I am usually VERY suspicious of super large takeout portions, mostly because you question the actual quality of the ingredients. I cannot say that this is the case for A & C, I feel as though the price accurately corresponds with what you get. If I remember correctly I got a massive serving of pork fried rice and a order of sesame chicken for around $20. The pork fried rice filled a clamshell takeout container. The fried rice was packed full of quality cuts of meat, eggs, and vegetables. I certainly will be getting this again sometime soon. The sesame chicken was not what I was expecting, but it too was delicious. They serve it how many other Chinese places serve sweet and sour chicken, fried chicken tenders with the sauce on the side. As someone that has had plenty of chicken of the like, I can say with confidence that this is definitely top tier. I often check restaurants health inspection ratings before going, and I found that A & C has consistently scored right around 95+ for several years, you cannot get much more hygienic than that. Do not let the location of this fine establishment turn you off, it is (in my opinion) one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Charlotte!

I gave the service 5 stars since they are a nice & humble establishment. However; the food quality was not so great. I ordered QT LOMEIN which WAS NO GOOD (broccoli, shrimp, onion) the noodles weren’t LOMEIN grade was more of Italian FLAT noodle & they were cooked to long they were extremely mushy and soggy the container was a LARGE WASTEFUL PORTION SIZE. Trashed unbeatable I’M SO UPSET. My food wasn’t FRESH. ACTUAL PHOTOS Next the SHRIMP FRIED RICE was PLAIN NO FLAVOR
