About KINTON RAMEN WOODBURY COMMON

KINTON RAMEN WOODBURY COMMON is a ramen restaurant located at 197 Niagara, Woodbury, NY 10917, USA, situated within the Woodbury Common Mall. They can be reached at (845) 928-0710 or +1 845-928-0710 for inquiries.

As a ramen restaurant, KINTON RAMEN WOODBURY COMMON offers a selection of ramen dishes, including pork, chicken, and beef options. Customers can choose from standard skinny noodles, thick noodles, or Shirataki noodles (konjac, low-calorie noodles) for an additional cost. The restaurant's seating arrangement includes small seats, a counter, and some outdoor seating.

Customer reviews indicate mixed experiences. Some customers found the pork miso ramen to be acceptable, though not the richest in flavor. The original pork ramen, which includes an egg, seaweed, and bamboo, was described as having a lighter flavor. The spicy garlic pork ramen was noted for its spiciness and a large piece of ground garlic, with some suggesting skipping the garlic. The gyoza are deep-fried, which some customers noted as different from the preferred pan-fried preparation.

However, other reviews expressed significant dissatisfaction with the flavor of the ramen, particularly the vegetable original and pork original, stating they lacked flavor and were a waste of money. The kimchi also received negative feedback. The atmosphere and service were also points of concern, with some customers reporting that the staff seemed disinterested and that promised items, like water, were not delivered. The ordering process was described as slow, as it is done manually at the counter, leading to the formation of lines.

These reviews suggest that potential customers should be aware of the reported inconsistencies in food quality, service, and atmosphere before visiting KINTON RAMEN WOODBURY COMMON. Individual experiences may vary.

A ramen shop at the Woodbury Common Mall - small seats and a counter, plus some outside seating. Ordering is slow - manually with the person at the counter answering questions, so a line forms quickly. You can order pork, chicken, or beef ramens. Noodles include a standard skinny, thick and a Shirataki noodle for $6 extra (konjac, low calorie noodles). Pork Miso was ok, not the richest miso used but reasonable flavor and two slices of the pork. Corn, and no egg. Original pork had an egg, seaweed, and bamboo. Not as rich flavor, but lighter. Spicy Garlic Pork - it's spicy, and no egg, but a huge piece of ground garlic up top; you can probably skip that and enjoy the spiciness (more Chinese than Japanese flavor). Gyoza here were deep-fried, I prefer pan-fried.

The reviews stated that the food here was very good but it’s an untruth! We ordered the vegetable original and pork original. Neither had flavor and we didn’t eat it all. The cost was $18 each which was a total waste of money. My goddaughter also or the kimchi. We didn’t enjoy the food and the atmosphere was not the best and they may have been because the staff seemed they were there only for a salary. The young lady who took our order stated she would bring us water but we never got it. I highly recommend not visiting this restaurant as it was a waste of money.

Can’t believe this is Japanese owned ramen shop because I usually never go any others people for ramen except Japanese owned. The ramen texture was not bad but the soup tasted like instant noodles and the pork were only 2 slices with fat only and nothing else but charging $18 plus tax plus tips. Disappointed

First off, the spicy pork ramen with garlic was okay. Pork broth was not as flavorful as places that I have tried. The main reason for 3* was the service and the atmosphere given the price they’re charging. IMO, this is a fast food chain, like McDonalds, not a typical Japanese restaurant experience you would normally have. The server didn’t even smile/talk when she brought the ramen over, the people in the kitchen were banging the bowls/dishes. Fast food, loud, no service, quick lunch while shopping here, maybe. Real Japanese restaurant experience, big NO.
