About 7 Kitchens

7 Kitchens is a restaurant located at 5218 Patrick Rd, Verona, NY 13478, USA. They can be contacted at (800) 771-7711 or +1 800-771-7711. While the platform category suggests it is a Chinese restaurant, customer reviews indicate that 7 Kitchens operates as a buffet offering a wide variety of cuisines, which may or may not prominently feature Chinese dishes.

Recent customer experiences highlight several concerns. One reviewer described a significant wait time, including an hour in line followed by another hour after being put on a waiting list. This customer found the overall food quality to be mediocre, mentioning dry prime rib, crab cakes with a mix of real and imitation crab, a limited salad bar selection, overcooked and dry falafels at the Greek station, bland and unpleasant clams, and an "ok" gyro. They noted a decline in quality since a remodel and questioned the value for the price, expressing uncertainty about returning. The desserts were rated as "ok."

Another customer reported a negative experience related to the restaurant's policy regarding medical conditions affecting food consumption. Despite presenting a doctor's card indicating a gastric bypass, they were required to pay full price for the buffet. They found this unreasonable for the limited amount of food they would consume and described the manager's response as rude and lacking explanation. This customer ultimately chose to eat at the bar instead.

Based on these reviews, 7 Kitchens is characterized by potentially long wait times and a buffet format with diverse food stations, the quality of which has been described as generally mediocre across various cuisines. There are also concerns raised about pricing policies and customer service in specific situations. While Chinese food might be available as part of their buffet selection, the reviews do not specifically focus on or praise any Chinese dishes. Local users considering dining at 7 Kitchens should be aware of these reported experiences regarding wait times, food quality, and service policies.

Waited in a line for a hour. When we finally got to the front of the line. We were put on a list only to find we had another hour to wait. We tried a bit of everything. Overall everything was mediocre. The prime rib was dry. The crab cakes had some real crab and imitation crab .The salad bar didn't have much of a selection. The Greek station had falafels that were way over cooked and dried out. The clams were bland and tasted yucky. The gyro was ok. Haven't been since the remodel. Loved it before the remodel. For the quality of the food you can't justify the price. Not sure if we will be back. The desserts were ok.

I didn’t get to eat here because after I presented my card that I had obtained from my doctor stating that I had gastric bypass I was told I still had to pay full price. No other Buffett has given me a hard time and the manager was extremely rude, giving no explanation. I wasn’t looking to eat for free but paying $40 for a half a plate of food is unreasonable. We ended up eating at the bar and enjoyed the rest of our night.

Haven’t been back here in a while, decided to try it again after we had a not so great experience last time. Sad to say this place is still a disappointment. It’s unfortunate that they did all this work to make this place look lovely but did not make the food to match. Meat was tough, most of the food was just warm, clam strips were overcooked, most of it had no flavor. Best thing was the mashed potatoes and the shrimp cocktail. Desserts were the worst. Carrot cake tasted freezer burned, tiramisu needs love, the ice cream was alright. I wish Del Lago would bring their buffet back. Turning stones 7 kitchens just doesn’t deliver unfortunately.

This is top notch in every way. It's the happiest I've been since LoLo's Steakhouse in Montana! Everything from Thai curry to homestyle meatloaf. Usually, I avoid buffet vegetables, but here it was a delight. Brussell sprouts cooked perfectly, and many types of squash. There are too many wonderful things to name. Oh, and potstickers with perfect ginger sauce. Staff were amazing. They are all stars of the show, especially the chefs😉💗.

It’s mind boggling that this place doesn’t have at least 4 stars. Compared to all the other buffets in the northeast, this place is truly a hidden gem - I hate how this word is so overused on social media, but this definitely applies - when you look at selection/variety, price, and quality. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.
