Was craving sushi while on my trip back to NY, this is the nearest I can find. The restaurant is cozy and friendly, making it a great place to try yummy sushi and other traditional dishes. Every bite is fresh and tasty, showing how much care the chefs put into making the food. The staff is nice and helpful, making sure you have a fun time eating there. If you want to taste Japan's flavors in a cool restaurant, Shumi is the place to go!

5/5 Stars! I’d give more stars if I could. I've had the pleasure of trying sushi at various restaurants, but this place truly stands out as the best! The freshness of the fish is unparalleled, and the friendly staff made my experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the Godzilla roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and California roll for takeout, and each piece was a flavor explosion! The Godzilla roll is a must-try - it's incredible! I've also had the pleasure of enjoying their all-you-can-eat option in the past, and it's a fantastic value. This time, I opted for takeout to savor my Godzilla roll while watching the new "Godzilla X Kong - The New Empire" movie at home - what a perfect pairing! In short, this sushi restaurant has won my heart (and taste buds)! If you're a sushi lover like me, do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Very good place, sushi comes always fresh as you see it being prepared. Very tasty and in the AYCE price (Saturday $39.99) desert and soda included.

The food and the waiter are really good. The sushi here is much cheaper than other restaurants.
