About GENJIGO
GENJIGO, located at 14 E Schrock Rd, Westerville, OH 43081, USA, offers customizable bowls with a variety of protein and vegetable options, along with fried rice. You can contact them at (614) 392-4543 or +1 614-392-4543 for orders and inquiries.
Customer reviews present a mixed experience. Some customers have praised the quality of the meat and rice, describing the chicken and steak as moist and tender, and the fried rice as moist with no uncooked pieces. The juice choices are also appreciated, with tea being a favorite. The restaurant's bathroom sign is noted for its humorous nature.
However, other customers have expressed concerns about the limited vegetable options, with only one vegetable choice allowed per bowl. This has led to questions about the value of adding more vegetables, given the price. The fried rice is also criticized for containing minimal vegetables, such as a few slivers of carrots and a teaspoon of egg.
The service is described as average, with some customers noting a lack of exceptional service. The yum yum sauce is considered okay but not as good as that found in most hibachi restaurants.
The portion sizes, particularly in the kids' meal, are considered adequate but not generous, with a focus on rice. Some customers have compared GENJIGO unfavorably to nearby restaurants, citing better value and more variety elsewhere.
In summary, GENJIGO offers customizable bowls with good meat and rice quality, but the limited vegetable options and average service may deter some customers. The portion sizes and overall value are also points of contention.

Customer Reviews
Chicken+steak bowl, Fried rice, all vegetables. 3 soy sauce packets (Kikkoman brand) and 1 Sriracha (Texas Pete). Outstanding! The meat was moist and tender, the rice was moist, not one single crunchy piece of uncooked rice! I'm full, but not overfilled. All 3 juice choices were great, however I prefer the tea. Thank you very much, I will be back! The bathroom sign is hilarious!
I was surprised when then I was told to pick 1 vegetable!! So I got 1 chicken and zucchini and 1 chicken and mushroom. I asked if this was because I ordered the kids meal and was told "No, you get choice of" so I see all these bowls and am wondering if people really spend $20 per bowl to add more vegetables??? The person waiting on seemed par for the course - high school kid, he did say have a good night, so that was good. Not exceptional- either way. I was there at Noon and no one was eating inside. I passed someone getting takeout š„” on my way in. The taste was good, 3 or 4 slivers of carrots and a teaspoon of egg in the fried rice. The yum yum sauce was okay- not as good as most hibachi places but good. Most of the dish was rice. It was a try for us which is why we got the kids meal portion. (No drink included). Overall, I'm glad we didn't spend more. I am not sure I would return on a regular basis, which is sad because they could really corner the market- but with Lucky House diagonally across the parking lot from them- we can split a family meal for the same cost and get and egg roll, shrimp toast and crab Rangoon, and the same meat portion with more vegetables and fried rice that had more "stuff" in it.
This is a new place and I always want to try a great new place however this didn't really live up to my hopes. A few things so yes it is very fast I would even say Hibachi express. The customization is great also but the chicken was extremely dry and overcooked not juicy from a regular Hibachi. If I didn't have sauce I wouldn't have liked it. That's not the case with regular Hibachi. Now the prices for a single Chicken bowel of $10 is a good price but I would have liked fresh ingredients as advertised. I also didn't really love the flavor of the fried rice. I may try steamed next time and steak. It is filling and the atmosphere is nice. The only reason why this isn't 5 stars is the flavor and freshness of the food since that's the purpose for everyone's visit that's priority. If you want more reviews like and follow as always Thanks for reading. Ps would love more Zucchini
This place was really clean, service was good & food was well prepared my only complaint is portions couldāve been a bit more but it did the trick. I recommend checkin this place out if you like hibachiā
I ordered a chicken and shrimp bowl, they forgot the chicken. Tried to call, and the phone line is always busy.
