About C WOK

C WOK is a classic fast food Chinese takeout restaurant located at 3505 E Park Blvd #340, Plano, TX 75074, USA, offering meal delivery services. They can be contacted at (972) 801-9903 or +1 972-801-9903.

A key feature highlighted is their lunch special, available Monday through Friday from 11 am to 3 pm for approximately $8 per person. This special includes a choice of fried or steamed rice, a soup, and an entree.

Reviews strongly advise against dining in, with one customer describing the interior as "pretty much trashed" with "Chairs stacked against one side, and a general look of neglect and disrepair." They explicitly state, "You really don't want to dine in, trust me." Interestingly, the restaurant does have a fish tank.

Regarding the food, it is generally considered "pretty good, especially for the price," with "fairly generous" portions. One reviewer enjoyed the Hunan Beef lunch special, describing it as "spicy and good" and noting that it came with wonton soup and a fortune cookie. Overall, for takeout, it's seen as a "decent place" with "good prices" (referring to the lunch special), "fast and courteous service," and "fairly good food."

However, another reviewer had a more mixed experience, finding it "pretty okay" in flavor but "very expensive." They were initially skeptical due to past bug ratings but did not observe any. They noted the soup had "decent flavor," but the "chicken was kind of stringy, and had too much breading," and the "rice was a little dry." They also found the "bag of wonton chips were laughable and not enough." This reviewer concluded that overall, the flavor was alright but not worth the price.

Based on these reviews, C WOK in Plano, TX, is primarily recommended for takeout due to the poor condition of the interior. They offer an affordable lunch special with generous portions that includes rice, soup, and an entree. The Hunan Beef lunch special is specifically praised. Service is generally fast and courteous. However, some customers find the regular prices expensive for the quality, noting issues with certain dishes like stringy chicken with excessive breading, dry rice, and a small amount of wonton chips. Local users looking for a budget-friendly lunch special for takeout might find C WOK a decent option, but those seeking higher quality at regular prices may want to consider alternatives.

The environment is described as "trashed," neglected, and disrepaired, strongly suggesting takeout only. Services include meal delivery and fast, courteous service for takeout orders. A key feature is the affordable and generous lunch special (Monday-Friday, 11 am - 3 pm) including rice, soup, and an entree. The Hunan Beef lunch special is a recommended item. Drawbacks include the poor interior condition and potentially overpriced regular menu items with inconsistent food quality (stringy chicken, dry rice, meager sides mentioned by one reviewer). No specific promotional information beyond the existence of the lunch special is available.

CWOK is the classic fast food Chinese takeout place: you can get a lunch special for about $8 a person, and the special includes fried or steamed rice, a soup, and an entree - available Monday through Friday, 11am to 3pm. The inside of the restaurant is pretty much trashed. Chairs stacked against one side, and a general look of neglect and disrepair. You really don't want to dine in, trust me. They do have a fish tank! The food is pretty good, especially for the price. Portions are fairly generous, and I tries the Hunan Beef lunch special, which was spicy and good. Came with wonton soup and a fortune cookie. Overall, this is a decent place for takeout. Good prices, fast and courteous service, and fairly good food.

It's pretty okay, just very expensive. I was skeptical because of past ratings with bugs but I didn't see any, so I'll give them credit for that. The soup had decent flavor, the chicken was kind of stringy, and had too much breading. The rice was a little dry. The bag of wonton chips were laughable and not enough. Overall it was alright in flavor but not in price.

We usually order here often and today was the absolute worst experience. When we arrived it took a long time to even be acknowledged even though I had pre ordered online. When we arrived home and opened our food we were shocked to find bugs in our food. This really shows how bad their food and service had gone down. Not to mention the couch they have there looks like someone lives there. When I went to call for a refund they yelled at me and told me not to order from there again because they don’t do business with my kind of people!

Prices are on par with other Chinese establishments in the area and yes, prices are a bit high overall. But, that’s just fast food in general, and $20 here will get you considerably more food than spending the same $20 on a burger or chicken finger restaurant. Been going here for years and always fast and fresh, with generous portions.

I ask for extra egg for young sauce and extra crispy noodles, and I didn't get either. And the bag of crispy noodles I did get was a pittance. But the food was pretty good.
