About 1915 Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles
1915 Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles is a Chinese Restaurant located at 207 E 26th St, New York, NY 10016, USA, specializing in authentic Lanzhou-style hand-pulled noodles. This restaurant offers a satisfying experience for noodle enthusiasts looking for freshly made and perfectly cooked noodles that are both chewy and tender.
Customers rave about the delicious broths, which offer a pleasant touch of heat. The restaurant itself is described as small and quaint, contributing to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is noted for being polite and personable, making diners feel like valued guests.
Popular dishes include the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodles and the Pickled Cabbage Beef Noodles. While one review mentioned the Signature noodles having a potentially overpowering amount of chili oil, the noodles and soup were still considered good. The Pickled Cabbage Beef Noodles were particularly enjoyed for the pleasant sourness of the pickled cabbage that complemented the soup, along with the tenderness of the beef. The menu also features Chinese hamburgers, with the Pork Chinese Hamburger being favored over the Lamb version, which some found a bit dry but improved with a dip in the soup and a touch of black vinegar.
Due to its popularity, especially during weekend lunch hours, there may be a waiting time for a table. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance, making it a comfortable spot for enjoying authentic hand-pulled noodles. If you’re craving genuine Lanzhou noodles in a welcoming setting, 1915 Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles is a place worth visiting.

Great place to satisfy your noodle cravings. The noodles are made fresh and cooked perfectly, chewy and tender. The broth are similarly delicious with just a little bit of heat. The restaurant is small and quaint which makes the atmosphere more pleasant and welcoming. The owner is equally polite and personable. He treated us as if we’ve been friends for years. I highly recommend this place, you will definitely love it!
Came here for lunch on a weekend and we waited around 20 minutes for a table of 2. The place is smaller than I expected considering the long line to get inside, but it was pretty cozy. We ordered the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodles, Pickled Cabbage Beef Noodles, Lamb Chinese Hamburger, and Pork Chinese Hamburger. I thought the signature noodles came with too much chili oil and it overpowered the dish a bit. However, noodles and soup were still good. We both enjoyed the pickled cabbage beef noodles more, because the sourness of the pickled cabbage went well with the soup. Also, the beef was so tender!! We also enjoyed the pork hamburger more than lamb, it had a bit of heat but not too much. We thought lamb was a little dry, but tasted better if you dip it in your soup and add some black vinegar. Overall, cozy comfort food and I would come back again!
1915 Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves authentic and flavorful dishes. Watching the chefs skillfully hand-pull the noodles right in front of you is not just entertaining but also a testament to the quality and tradition behind their food. The broth is rich, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the portions are generous. The ambiance is casual yet welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a comforting meal. Whether you’re a noodle enthusiast or just looking for something new and delicious, this place won’t disappoint. I can’t wait to come back!
Noodle soups were big portions, very flavorful, great chewy noodles! We got the braised beef and the classic lanzhou. Not a fan of the wontons in chili, they lacked flavor. The fried buns were really good though! Limited seating so get there early if you don’t want to wait
This little gem is HOT!! The noodles are made to order, and if you're lucky, you can see them pulled before your eyes! From super thin to thick, served in broth or dry complimented with an aray of toppings and spices to choose from. Vibe to the music while they prepare your order!
