About 珍云南 過橋米線
珍云南 過橋米線, which translates to "Zhen Yunnan Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles," is a Chinese restaurant located at 136-20 Roosevelt Ave in Flushing, New York. As part of the Chinese Restaurant category, 珍云南 過橋米線 focuses on the distinctive cuisine of the Yunnan province in China, with its signature dish being the 過橋米線 (guoqiao mixian), or Crossing-the-Bridge rice noodle soup. This dish is a Yunnan specialty, known for its flavorful broth and the ritual of adding various ingredients to it at the table. Based on the limited customer reviews available, the restaurant offers not only this iconic noodle soup but also other items like boba drinks and variations of rice noodle soup.
The environment of 珍云南 過橋米線 is described by one reviewer as being located "in the BASEMANS mall food area." This suggests that the restaurant might be situated within a food court setting in the basement level of a mall. Food courts typically offer a casual and bustling atmosphere with communal seating areas shared among various vendors. The focus is usually on quick service and convenience rather than an elaborate dining ambiance. Being in a mall food area likely makes 珍云南 過橋米線 easily accessible to shoppers and those in the vicinity looking for a quick and authentic meal. However, specific details about the restaurant's stall or seating area within the food court are not provided.
In terms of services, the primary offering of 珍云南 過橋米線 is its Yunnan-style cuisine, with a strong emphasis on rice noodle soups. One reviewer mentioned "boba and spicy beef soup," indicating that the restaurant also serves beverages like boba, a popular USese tea-based drink with tapioca pearls. Another customer noted that their "wife and kids like the tomato with sliced beef rice noodle soup a lot," suggesting a milder, non-spicy option that caters to a broader range of palates, including children. A crucial piece of service-related information is that "most of the place is only cash." This is a significant detail for potential customers, as they need to be prepared to pay with cash since other forms of payment might not be accepted. The reviews do not explicitly mention whether the restaurant offers takeout or delivery services, but it is common for food court vendors to provide takeout options.
The main feature of 珍云南 過橋米線 is its specialization in Yunnan rice noodle soup, particularly the 过桥米线 (Crossing-the-Bridge rice noodles). While none of the provided reviews specifically detail the traditional preparation of this dish at 珍云南, the restaurant's name itself highlights its significance. Traditionally, Crossing-the-Bridge rice noodles involve a rich chicken broth served with various raw ingredients such as thinly sliced meats, seafood, vegetables, and rice noodles, which are added to the hot broth at the table and cooked quickly. The mention of "spicy beef soup" and "tomato with sliced beef rice noodle soup" suggests that 珍云南 offers variations of rice noodle soup that cater to different taste preferences, including those who enjoy spicy flavors and those who prefer a milder, tomato-based broth. The availability of boba drinks also adds another dimension to their offerings, providing a popular beverage choice to complement the meal.

Boba and spicy beef soup 🍜 Be aware , most of the place is only cash. BRING CASH is in the BASEMANS mall food area
My wife and kids like the tomato with sliced beef rice noodle soup a lot
What rubbish? 5 points? It’s just the instant food I bought that I soaked for you, it’s not even as good as pre-made dishes! The rice noodles were so broken that my mother didn’t recognize them. They had obviously been cooked and re-cooked after adding preservatives for a long time. The meat had a very strong canned smell, the cabbage smelled of preservatives, the quail eggs and yuba were sour, and the day lily had a weird smell like dried vegetables that had been cooked without soaking. It was really outrageous. It's not delicious in the first place, but it's a surprise after two bites.
Pay attention to the chopsticks he uses for takeout rice balls. The chopsticks provided by rice balls are recycled. I have encountered more than one occasion when I opened the packaging of the chopsticks and found that the chopsticks had been used and even had yellow oil on them.
I bought Bobo Chicken. The shrimps are smelly. I had diarrhea today after eating it yesterday. I had diarrhea 5 times.
