108 Food Dried Hot Pot Intro

108 Food Dried Hot Pot, located at 2794 Broadway, New York, NY 10025, is a Chinese Restaurant offering meal delivery and dine-in services, specializing in dry hot pot dishes. Customer reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences.

Many customers praise the flavorful dry pot bowls, particularly the fish, which is deep-fried before being added to the stir-fry. The fish fillet with chili pepper is a popular choice, with adjustable spice levels. Some customers find spice level 80 to be perfect, while 100 can be too intense.

During the pandemic, the restaurant was a popular takeout spot, and it continues to be frequented for dine-in. Customers have noted the reasonable prices for a bowl serving two, though larger orders can become more expensive. Rice refills are typically free.

However, there are also concerns about pricing and service consistency. Some customers have reported feeling overcharged, especially when ordering from the hot pot counter. There are claims that staff may add extra vegetables to increase the weight and cost of the dish, particularly for new customers. One long-time customer expressed disappointment with this practice.

Overall, 108 Food Dried Hot Pot offers flavorful dry pot dishes, but potential customers should be aware of potential pricing inconsistencies and service variations. For meal delivery or inquiries, you can contact the restaurant at (917) 675-6878 or +1 917-675-6878.

One of my favorite spots in NYC. The dry pot bowl offers the perfect comfort food. I usually add extra extra fish because they deep fry it before mixing with the stirfry. I can just eat the fish only everyday. In fact, their fish fillet with chili pepper is exactly that. Spice level 80 is perfect for me. 100 can sometimes interfere with my enjoyment of the meal. My husband and I went here almost every week during the pandemic to order our takeout bowl, sometimes we'd just eat in the car. And ever since they reopened for dine-in we've been there too. Price is reasonable. Usually a bowl for 2 is around $50. We go crazy often and end up spending $60-70 which means we'd be rolling out those days. Rice refills are free.

Exorbitantly priced. Stay away from the hot pot counter. If you are new to the place the lady will drop a lot of vegetables when you are not looking to add weight to the dishes. You are better off ordering from the predetermined menu. $34 they charged my friend. I stood by to see how they would treat him as a new customer. Last time I am going here having been a repeat customer for the last 4 years weekly with my wife. This is a sad breakup because of greed.

The seafood combo hotpot might be one of my favorite dishes in this neighborhood. The dry hotpot is great too and even the vegetable sides are great. Perfect for when the weather is super cold!

Ate here almost week when I lived in the area. True asian flavors, and an excellent selection of ingredients for the hotpot. Get the dried style / that’s my favorite and they do a really good job of it.

What a wonderful find! I love hot pot, but this is my first dry, hot pot. Truly excellent, fresh, flavorful, perfect spice! Pricy, so we can’t come often, but we definitely will come back. All and all, a gem with an authentic and enjoyable meal!
