About 101 Asian Kitchen

101 Asian Kitchen, situated at 7170 Beverly Blvd #2547 in Los Angeles, presents itself as an Asian restaurant with some Chinese influences, based on the provided reviews. One customer particularly enjoyed the freshness and taste of the California roll and found the Thai tea to be perfect.

However, another reviewer expressed significant concerns regarding the quality and preparation of the meat dishes. This customer, who had tried various meat options, reported instances of meat being hard to chew, difficult to bite through, and potentially undercooked, describing it as sometimes "gummy" or too tough. This individual also mentioned enjoying some of the side orders such as dumplings, fried rice, and macaroni. Their experience with the sushi was inconsistent.

In terms of service, this same reviewer recounted instances of feeling unwelcome by some staff members, which deterred them from being a regular customer despite initially frequenting the restaurant for the fried rice. They perceived negative facial expressions and gestures from certain staff members. The reviewer also noted that the restaurant seems to attract business due to its late operating hours when other food options are limited.

A positive aspect mentioned is the generous portion sizes, which are described as much larger than those at establishments like Panda Express. However, the reviewer cautioned about the inconsistent meat preparation. Additionally, the dine-in experience appears to be compromised by limited and obstructed seating due to stacked supplies, creating a tight space. The reviewer also felt that the prices were excessively high. Therefore, potential customers might consider 101 Asian Kitchen for its late hours and large portions, with specific attention to the praised California roll and Thai tea, while being mindful of the reported inconsistencies in meat quality and service, as well as the limited dine-in facilities.

I am not crazy about the meat here. I’ve tried all varieties of their meat products here, and some meat is very hard to chew and bite through. Some meat doesn’t seem all the way fully cooked. (Feel that out for yourself). I personally do not like that they don’t cook their meat all the way through. The meat can taste too “gummy” to chew, or toOo “hard” to bite through. I do like some of their side orders… like the dumplings, the fried rice, the macaroni. Their sushi doesn’t always taste good to me. I also do not like their service sometimes. I used to come there more regularly mainly for their fried rice, and one of the Asian guys who work there, and the woman (his girlfriend) or something… they started talking in “Chinese” or whatever… and would make certain facial expressions and gestures towards me, that made me feel like they were annoyed by seeing me be a regular customer, financially supporting their business. Some people really do NOT belong in business. If I have frequent regularly customers who show up to my business and support me?? I’m gonna have the biggest smile on my face… cuz they are PUTTING MONEY IN MY POCKET AND HELPING MY BUSINESS TO CONTINUE TO OPERATE. These people wanna give you “bad attitude” sometimes, if you chose to be a “regular.” They do NOT always appreciate repeat customers. So I stopped going regularly. Plus the issue I have with them not cooking their meat all the way through properly. The only reason they continue to seem to get “business” is cuz they are opened really late at night… when other food spots have closed. They do tend to give BIG servings of food (which is good). Much bigger servings than say…Panda Express. Which is good. However, beware of the meat. They just always seem to under cook, or overcook their meat. So beware of that. You also can’t relax and dine in there, because they offer no real generous seating… they have “supplies” stacked up everywhere against the walls where there is supposed to be seating with a dine-in option… but they don’t offer it. The space is too tight. I also think they are waaay toOoo overpriced. It’s ridiculous.

Greeting wasn't good. Said hi how are you and he's like what you need. Um okay. We got the orange chicken, the seafood combo the their yan fried rice which came with shrimp, beef and chicken with peas and egg. All was good. Fresh, crispy. We came for the dine in on which Google shows they have but they are takeout only..we ate in our truck. Overall customer service is part of being in the restaurant buisness and it lacked..we were in the area so it isn't like we will be back but for others who will be coming here especially 1st timers like us don't expect great or mediocre service. Food though very yummy.

Beef broccoli was on point! Fresh, good flavor crunchy vegetables, which is everthing I want in a beef broccoli dish. I'm definitely going back! A plus! Oh and I love the option to do brown rice (a healthier option) instead of just fried or white.
