China Bowl Express & Young Hawaiian BBQ
Food is good but the prices advertised aren’t accurate. I ordered the mini bowl which is advertised as $9.19 and I ended up paying $13.85. When you factor in tax and the 50 cent charge for using card it doesn’t add up. I was also yelled at by the employee who took my order to sit down while I waited for my food. Probably won’t be back.
Great experience. Just driving by and found this place looking for protein! Ordered a chicken combo #6 ($14 tax incl) which was cooked there for me, something that I appreciate. Flavor wise very similar to Ono Hawaiian BBQ Franchises. I have to say that with these plates two people with a normal appetite eat easily. I just ate half of it whiteout eating the rice and the macaroni salad.
Taipei OG Noodle Shop
Small bowl with little beef shank. I used to go to some authentic Taiwan restaurants for this famous Beef shank noodle soup, so I know exactly what it suppose to look like and taste like. Plus, I like to try new restaurants and flavors in this newly opened food court in West Covina, so I ordered a beef shank noodle soup. I was very disappointed! The bowl was not a normal and traditional Chinese noodle soup bowl. It looks like a flower vase rather than a noodle soup bowl. By doing this, customers will get much less amount of food than they are paying for. Plus, the half raw vegetables are taking the most space on the top of the bowl. The reason is that, there are only two small pieces of beef shank on the top of the bowl. The container has a very narrow bottom area, so you are not going to get a lot of noodles and soup down there. The worst thing is that the soup was super greasy and salty, so I consider that it is very unhealthy for anybody to take so much fat and sodium at this restaurant. The price is not cheap for such an unhealthy noodle soup: it will cost you 17 dollars. Well, lessons learned, next time, I certainly will not come back to this restaurant again.
I'm Taiwanese and the ultimate beef noodle soup was delicious and hit the spot. Beef was tender, soup was balanced, and the noodles were different than the flat white ones but very chewy and fresh, I think they make it there daily. Pickled cucumbers and cabbage were also crispy and not too sweet or sour. I like the modern take on the beef noodle soup, and washing it down with a sarsaparilla soda was perfect. Owner was also super nice, recommended the chilli crisps which added a nice kick to the soup too. Definitely coming back

It's salty to death, The eggplant is burnt. It's all oil,and the fish stinks! Disappointed,I really can't eat it
Have to disagree with most of the reviews here. Thought the whole grilled fish was their specialty. Came and ordered just that. Fish wasn't even fresh. They admit it was frozen. It was half submerged in sauce that tasted pretty sad. No red chili's, sesame seeds and didn't look like the picture at all. Was the worst tasting grilled fish I've had. Spoke to owner who said the fish was in fact not their specialty. Ordered a Shaanxi noodle dish instead which is supposed to be their specialty. It was greasy and din'y taste good.
Dim Sum King Master
Ah man, this is good. Im eating it right now, this is the best. Beancurd roll with pork in oyster sauce, deep fried shui mai, and sesame balls. Friendly owners, clean place, nice music.
All around excellent place for Chinese food. My friend brought me here and knows the owner personally. The owner and staff are very welcoming to us and other customers. Food is excellent and leaves us full every time. Highly recommend visiting when in the area.
Lobster & Steak Express
Food came out right away. Good food. Great price. We ordered 5 dishes, house fried rice, salt and pepper squid, shrimp with fried garlic, spicy filet mignon and a veggies dish.
Hidden gem!!! Amazing restaurant and service. All plates are amazing! The plate you must get is the the lobster house special!!!! Will come back, the host and owner extremely kind!
Tian You Feng Dumpling House
(7/2/2023) Try this restaurant after Tumbling was lots of people waiting in line, and eventually it turned out decent in my opinion. Service was friendly but it could be better (faster). For food, Hot and Sour Soup was okay because ingredients wasn't match as I expected (Ham instead of Shredded Pork). Dumplings was good because it was juicy, and I Recommended Shrimp & Pork Wonton and Beef Noodle Soup because it was delicious and not too spicy. Probably one of my replacement dumplings restaurant options, and I would like to try Pan Fried Pork Buns next time because lots of customer ordered and it looked pretty good.
This is the place for dumpling lovers! They got pan fried dumplings, steam dumplings and all other yummy food. Best in town. Highly recommend!
Panda Express
Andy has the best vibes! Don’t see to many young people with the same energy. Very polite and communicative.
My wife and I looked forward to eating at Panda. We used to eat at their branch at Hacienda Heights. But we were at the mall, so we went to the food court. First, their food servings were smaller than usual. Seconds, they don’t allow drink refills. Lastly, they did not have paper napkins. When my wife asked for the paper towels instead that was available, the woman server cannot but gave my wife torn pieces that were useless and gravely insulting. When I complained, she now suggested that we ask for napkins from the other food outlets. She was passing her problem to the customer. Only when I started to raise my voice did Steven, probably the manager, approached me. He apologized, gave me what the woman cannot, and promised to “talk” to her. I don’t know if he would, but l also promised to give the a bad review. I was surprised that I was not the first or only one to give the place a bad review. I am very disappointed at Panda.
