Combo House
This food stall is located in the corner of Hannan Supermarket. From the boss to the chef, they are all Koreans. Most of the customers communicate with the boss in Korean, so the food provided is very Korean-flavored and the portions are large. I've tried this many times and it's always the same delicious food.
Seafood noodle is the bomb, it’s about $15 for a huge bowl. I tried different rice bowls, noodles and dumplings before discovered their seafood noodle, all are solid. Nowadays I only stick with the seafood noodle.
Walnut Tree Restaurant
we've been to eat twice now. first for dinner we got the green beans and pork chop with spicy salt. everything was fresh and delicious. then we went for the lunch special that's under $10 dollars for soup, egg roll, wonton, you choice of entree and rice. it's pretty amazing to find a lunch special for that price and have the food be nutritious and wholesome. I will say the food is traditional don't come here looking for a sterile americanized version. It's delicious and this small family owned business deserves more traffic
Small whole in the wall. Good food. The orange chicken was the best. Dark meat. Not too sweet. Sweet n sour had white meat. So it was kinda dry. Mongolian beef very chewy and kind of sweet. Has a lot of onions. Good portions though.
Green Shaker by Ten Ren
Never been experiencing Ten Ren as worst as today at Grand and Valley walnut. Buy 2 cup of honey green tea with Aloe, usually the aloe is about 1" at the bottom of the cup this time only enough to cover the bottom. Is aloe price just went up so Ten Ren think they need to cut the portion? That cutting the portion more than half compare to regular. I been with Ten Ren for around 20 years since Alhambra and San Gabriel. The one that make it 1 star is how the attendant respond to my complaint. When I ask why the aloe is so little, she just said light that how the scop is with "I don't care face"
This is a very good choice for Taiwan street food. The wantons were just as good as those in Taiwan and the 3-cup chicken lunch combo was decent, except it was a bit too sweet. We also tried the deep fried fish balls, which were really good, though I’m sure it wasn’t very healthy. The service was friendly and excellent. The eating area was clean and comfortable. I gave a 5-star rating due to its friendly service and closeness to authenticity of Taiwanese Chinese food (not to be confused with Taiwanese Food).
Anna Wang's Kitchen
Totally could be a nice place, but they could be better at parking their car
Xin Wang Food Inc 海南鸡遇上土豆粉
Small business. Current rating matching for my expectation. Service is decent via phone order. Prices here are not expensive, and portions of food are good for standard people. For the food, Handmade Potato Noodles and Pickled Napa with Lamb is freshly made after I ordered, and is pretty good in my opinion. I like the chicken rice here that gives me a different presentation of the looks and it tastes very good. The chicken is good which is smooth and tender. Personally, "Green Sauce" isn't my favorite but it's decent (I used to eat chicken with ginger and scallion). Overall, I recommend people to come here for takeout or quick bite for lunch/late night here.
Came here to try your their Hainan chicken rice to compare with other restaurants. We ordered the combo for 4, came with 2 plates of already deboned chicken, 4 bowls of rice and soup stock, 1 plate of stirred fry Shanghai choi and 1 playe of smashed cucumber pickle and small tub of pried peanuts. The chicken was mediocre , the soup stock tastes like warm water which is really puzzling with all the chicken that they served. The 2 dipping sauce were not enough for the entire chciken plates. They charge extra if i you ask for more. Order through the QR code. Doesn’t work when we were there.
Hong Kong Cafe
What a pleasant surprise! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Ordering was smooth, and everything came out in a timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was flavorful and clearly made fresh. The portions were very generous, and the overall value for the price was excellent—we left feeling full and happy. The restaurant was also clean and comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy our meal and conversation. Overall, great service, amazing food, and big portions—I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!
I had a fantastic experience at a Hong Kong cafe restaurant. The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and authentic dishes made it memorable. The milk tea was perfectly smooth, and the Beef Tripe and Tendon Rice was flavorful and hearty. The vibrant atmosphere truly captured the essence of Hong Kong dining

Super happy I can be the 1st review! We ordered 3 things and I will rank from best to worst Beef, shrimp, egg pie Taste Grade B This dish is almost B+. However, the chef made 1 of the pie TOO wet and the skin was not crispy so.... Overall taste is on the light side and it is better than too salty. Nevertheless, the beef is just ok. The egg is egg yolk and nothing too special. The shrimp is just a little bit and you can NOT experience the SEAFOOD taste so I can NOT give a higher grade. Beef, shrimp, egg shaomai Taste Grade B It has the SAME mixing meat as the pie so...the grade is the same. However, the skin is TOO dry and easily stuck on the bottom of the steam paper so the grade is lower. Beef roll Taste Grade D+ The SMALLEST portion I ever seen in a Chinese restaurant ! The pancake is ok The meat is too plain But the sauce is TOO SALTY. Please do NOT order this one. The service is ok and the ambiance is just ok. We were the ONLY dining party at 2pm and when we leave at 3pm, there was another party coming in. I will ONLY come back here IF there is a promotion to give this place another CHANCE.
My friend told me about this awesome little spot. Went there for the first time today - the owner's this young, good-looking dude who's super friendly. Their "Rice Crust Dishes" , so damn good! Gonna swing by again this weekend to try their other tasty stuff.
Panda Express
We went for dinner. They were busy (mostly takeout it seemed.) The food was very fresh and they quickly replaced items that were running low. We were served very quickly. It took longer to check out because of all the people there to pick up to go orders. We got the large plate with 2 entrees. I got the mushroom chicken and chicken with green beans as my entrees. I'm trying to lose weight, and these items were marked as healthier. I got the mixed green vegetables as my side. I appreciated this healthier option. My husband got double chicken teriyaki for his 2 entrees. He got half chow mein and half rice for his side. He says that their chicken teriyaki is very good. We prefer to eat there rather than take it out. My only complaint is that it was really hard to find a table where we could just relax and eat without lots of noise from the kitchen and people walking in and out and all around us.
Our go to panda express after classes. Quick service and friendly staff. We've become familiar of how great Maricel and Jenny are as managers. You don't see just staff members, but an actual team! Keep up the good work!
