A tasty point-and-scoop shop that gives you massive portions. They should sell the daily special with a mattress because you'll want to nap for the rest of the day. Owners are a super friendly older couple: support local! $11.65 for one item with fried rice AND chow mein is hard to beat in this neighborhood.

I've eaten here a few times and will be back in the future. Hot food that comes out quickly and is affordable! Honestly, the fried rice was just alright, and I tend to judge Chinese food restaurants based off their fried rice, but I had the Kung pao and it was amazing. Worth checking out, and great for introverts like myself.

This is a local Cantonese yum cha type of restaurant. I just tried the ma po tofu and it was quite good. I should have asked them to make it using ma la spices to make it authentic. Will try other dishes soon. Lunch special prices are reasonable. Normal dishes are +$16 per entree. There is plenty of parking. In this strip mall. This appears to be a small Asian cuisine operation which we should support these days of bland chain restaurants.

Paying $15 for Full box of steam rice, Feel stupid to order this, total 7 pieces of "finger meat" mostly is bone, even chicken wing they cut in 3 pieces, the total meat is less than 3 chicken nuggets, I DO NOT recommend to anyone who has brain.

One of the best dim sum places! Good price, generous portions, and fresh ingredients that are freshly made. Highly recommend any of their baked or deep fried things like the shrimp roll and Chinese donut. I think they have the freshest best tasting Chinese donut in comparison to elsewhere. Their jumbo shrimp and pork sui mai is so fresh it tastes like they just made it there and then for order. I've been a few times and never disappointed.

Really pretty space. Wide menu and tasty food. The downsides is that it's a little complicated to find parking relative to its entrance, and the employees are very aloof? Not sure how to describe it. The manager was very nice though.

I recently visited Tasty China, and I can’t say enough good things! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance instantly transported us to a cozy, authentic setting. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We started with the Pork Pan Fried Bun, which were perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. For mains, we had the Hot Pepper Fish, the Beef Onion Pancake, and Pork Wonton in Spicy Sauce, all of which were expertly seasoned and perfectly made. The flavors were spot-on authentic, with just the right amount of spice and freshness in every bite. The service was fast and attentive; our server made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. They even offered great recommendations and had a genuine passion for the dishes. This restaurant has easily become my new favorite spot for Chinese cuisine, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and outstanding service. Can’t wait to come back!

We visited Tasty China 2 times. The first time, it was only 2nd day it was opened. The impression was good. The food was good, fresh and appetizing. The owner (Mrs Yang 楊老板娘) was very upfront and courteous and friendly. Left the restaurant with good taste and would be back. * Second time - a week later. All things had changed. The food was bad, terrible taste and the "NEW" cook added strange ingredients to the mixtures. The combination of cooking, serving portions, and strange mix of ingredients make the food taste awful. * We'll not be back at the restaurant for awhile. * The owner was very upfront and wanted us to critique and suggest improvements. That is a good sigh and good customer service attitude.

Hands down the most authentic, the best beef noodle house in all of Torrance and within 5 miles radius. The price they charge has been and still is amazing in today's economy in 2024 and I come here everyday for their beef noodle soup. Other places would easily charge the same beef noodle soup for 18 dollars a bowl. Like the other reviews said, the restuarant is pretty bare bone and has no decoration, holes to the walls but in my opinion is a plus unironically. Because I'm here to eat good noodles and not here to pay for them to put up fancy decorations. I recommend ordering beef noodle soup with wide noodles instead of regular thin noodles, wide noodles just taste better for me and feels better to chew on. I also recommend their Szechwan Style Cold Noodles. Sweet, a bit sour and packs lots of heat. You can't really find this dish anywhere else closeby.

Very good beefy noodle soup. And the cold side dishes is a must try. Best in Torrance CA for sure

The food is fast food Chinese elevated due to it being a sit down restaurant feel. This is not Chinese food- not authentic. One of ladies if you observe used one glove over and over again to clean tables to serve dishes to tables and when she is upfront collecting money etc. Also the only one that was helpful was the man who took our order and the Latin/Mexican man who was cleaning the tables. We wanted to try a Mom and Pop but were disappointed.

Come here multiple times already but this was my first time ordering to go because we didn't have time to dine in. It is usually busy when we dine in. Always a waiting list. Authentic as can be Chinese Food was well worth the wait when we dine in. Food was always tasty. You get soup to start off and dessert to end your meal. Portion size was always plenty. It is definitely extra extra large servings. We ordered to go and we got plenty. The fried pork, kung pow chicken and chow fun, all were very good. We had enough for dinner too. Oh, we also got soup but no dessert.

This place became my new favorite spot for Taiwanese food, the pork rice is so tasty. And the crispy chicken is very good too.

Never been this place. After reading the review and their menu, I was really looking forward to try their special breakfast this morning. Freshly made Soybean milk, thin and thick green onion crêpe. All Looks authentic Taiwan, or Shanghai style breakfast. But a big disappointment when we arrived there. The "Closed " sign was hanging on the window + closed after 31/12/2025 and moved to new place! I saw 2 cars stopping there and looking in too. Owner, please update your page so people don't get disappointed by driving all the way to there.....

First time EVER knowing and eating here. Loved the atmosphere and food. Got the shrimp rice and vegetables 🤤

Please don't eat here if you are expecting fresh food and decent service. My date and waited over 45 minutes for soggy food that tasted like plastic because it was microwaved in the containers and overcooked lumps of rice. The noodles were rubbery and congealed and looked and tasted like it was sitting in a fridge for two days and the won tons were slightly burned. I have tried the food at the San Pedro location and the food was good and fresh so I was really unpleasantly surprised at the lack of quality and the long wait for the food we ordered. I felt bad for my date because he spent over $50 for the food only to wind up with a lot of leftovers going into the trash. 1 star because their never selection was decent. Update: 2/25/24 My date got sick with diarrhea and stomach cramps in the morning after he ate the leftovers he took home from the restaurant for breakfast. I'll definitely not be returning to this location and warning friends not to order from this place. Awful!

Delicious food with unbelievable prices! The orange chicken lunch special is coming with an amazing soup, a crunchy spring roll and the lucky cookie for $9.99! Super fast and good service too! I will back!🙏

I ordered a wonton soup and got a seafood soup. Instead, I return the following day they refused to compensate me or give me a new dish, I will never return again. I’ve been a loyal customer for over two years now with multiple orders, this is how they treat loyalty, I brought everything back intact with package and receipt in hand, these people are ruthless, buyer beware. Worst service ever.

Very popular Chinese Restaurant. The restaurant opened at 11:00am and was packed by 11:30 with people waiting for a table outside. It's best to have a reservation before coming out gets that crowded. We ordered several items that were all awesome. Tangerine Chicken is fried with a really tasty tangerine sauce. A little bit crunchy and the flavor is right on. Sweet and Sour Pork perfectly cooked with Bell Peppers, Onions, Pineapple. Yummy Pork Chow Fun with noodles that were cooked perfectly with bean sprouts, onions, Snow Peas. Beef and Broccoli, Beef is tender and juicy with the right amount of sauce and tender broccoli. Service is awesome and fast. Small parking lot.

This is a Chinese restaurant that is very popular among the Asian community and is suitable for family gatherings with a larger number of people. However, they also have some smaller tables that can seat 2 to 4 people. Basically, the prices here are a bit expensive, but still reasonable. If you plan to eat some more common or ordinary Chinese dishes, the chefs in this restaurant should be able to satisfy you. If you plan to find something more special on the menu, Dishes that few people know how to order, such as the mutton brisket pot, frankly speaking, the chefs' skills are still not up to par. The mutton brisket pot I ordered had a strong meaty flavor, and the fried clams with black pepper were not hot enough. The portion size was small and overall disappointing.
