La Familia A+ Buffet
Nice area, great foods I like it.
Good Creole food. Duedly serves people well. That's where I always take my energy
Exclusive Kitchen
I drove all the way from Westchester county to support my Haitian people. There isn’t a lot of Haitian restaurants in Westchester county but I regret coming here. The woman that works there along with her daughter was so rude. They didn’t greet us when we walked in and Haitians are big on respect. The daughter had a very stink attitude. The food doesn’t look appealing at all. I think these reviews are fake because the food was horrible. They were serving food with their bare hands no gloves at touch not to mention touching their face. I don’t not recommend this restaurant at all. They make me feel ashamed to say that I’m Haitian.
Rude staff each and every time I go there. They behave as though no one will care whether they are rude are not. The food isn’t free, yet they are just plain nasty to customers. No customer service.
Linlee's Chinese Cuisine
This place is an absolute hidden gem! The atmosphere, food, kind, caring staff! Chef's kiss. .EVERYTHING ABOUT this restaurant is TOP NOTCH!
I've been going here for over 15 years and they still never disappoint. Egg drop soup is my favorite and the salt and pepper wings are probably my favorite wings in all of San Diego. Great pricing and friendly staff.
Panda House
Looks can be deceiving! Service was excellent, owner was sweet and super friendly! Food was so good! The salt and pepper shrimp is the best!!! As was Mongolian beef. Crispy beef was fine , too sweet for my liking. Will be back for sure!
Best damn Salt & Pepper Shrimp (no shell) and Salt & Pepper Pork Chops, hands down (we've tried up & down SD). Whenever we fly in from DFW, we always take a few plates/pans of each to eat at home. Reheating in Air Fryer- 4 mins at 400° tastes just like dine in. Call ahead, pickup for quickest service- never more than 10 mins & that includes up to Medium Sized catering tray. Customer service is nil, there's somewhat of a language barrier but we muddle thru just fine to get our to go plates/pans & our food is always ready super quick.
Chef China
Another disappointment. First open it was delicous, very reasonable pricing. Ordered last night, veg lo mein and eggrolls. The egg rolls have always been so good, fresh not frozen, large and fresh. Last night they were soaked in grease and pure mush on the inside. The lo mein was slimy. I don't know what is happening with restaurant quality in this day and age because this seems to be a trend.... inconsistency and on a downward spiral. Not sure if this is a labor problem or people's standards have gotten so low that restaurants/biz don't have to put out a good product. I was hopeful about this place.
I have gone to Chef China for about 7 times in the past 4 years. The food is always excellent, and the staff are nice. I can’t believe the portions…I have eaten the leftovers over a period of 3-4 days. It’s not exactly ambient, but it’s cash only with no indoor seating; it appears there used to be in-house dining, but likely because of COVID, that changed everything. My opinion completely changed on February 12, 2025, I’d had a half-day assignment at a nearby school, and had bragged to the staff that I was about to order some food from Chef China, “my favorite place,” stating that they give such generous portions that the food will last about 3-4 days. The staff were excited and took down their number. Around noon, I happily went to order the egg foo young, sweet sour soup, and chicken chop suey that came with crispy chips, fried rice, and an egg roll. I enjoyed several small meals. On Friday night I went for the last serving. Luckily, it was literally the last scoop put on my plate, but in the far corner of the styrofoam container where the chicken chop suey was, was a curled up long strand of black hair. I couldn’t stop gagging, and threw out a huge plate of the chicken chop suey, and the egg foo young. I am so disgusted that I will never eat here again, even if the food is good. I don’t think I’ll be able to eat any Chinese food anytime soon. I read their reviews. Most are good, but several are negative. One review said they too found a long strand of black hair. Last time I checked, hairnets are supposed to be worn. It’s sad because it was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I will be letting the staff I bragged to about what I found. In fact, it was the school that told me years back how great the food is. No one wants to find hair in their food! You have lost a good customer. You couldn’t make it up by offering me a free meal. No thanks. I did call the restaurant last night, and the girl only offered to say something to the kitchen staff. A refund would’ve been a nice offer. Debbie
Restaurant El Quetzal
Food was so salty couldn’t even eat the full course meal.. plus there was a cockroach (🪳) wondering around in the table.. will not be returning , had to be honest but the food was a no 👎🏼…
Woow the best place ever..as u put a step in they traet u verry good food is verry nice and well served the best place I've ever been
Panda Express
Panda Express is reasonably priced for the portion of food. Although as a YELP Elite the price was a non-factor. I ordered the walnut shrimp with super greens and the beef broccoli with fried rice. Of course the meal could not be complete without the three-piece cream cheese wontons. So essentially two bowls and wontons for $2.50 I can dig YELP Elite. This was the very first time that I received more than four shrimp and it was greatly appreciated. I hope this trend continues. Each of the meals were piping hot because it was crowded when I arrived between 5-6:30. In fact the line was outside the door. There were plenty of servers, taking orders and managing their quick service without waiting long. I was so hungry, I devoured my food in the car. I could have eaten at the outdoor patio but that was full. Inside seating was tight and I like to eat while watching Judge Mathis. Google maps was off. Panda Express is in the same shopping center of Smart & Final and Target. High quality indicators-Liked Food was served piping hot High quality customer service Excellent YELP Elite perks Ample parking Outdoor shaded patio Self-serve refills Meh Indoor dining is doable but tight I would be on the edge to say a wheelchair may not comfortably navigate inside Not liked One toilet-boo Yes, I would recommend Your fortune will read: Prosperity and unexpected favor will soon knock on your door
I'm not one for Chinese food in general, but I do enjoy entres. A friend of mine went for lunch, and I opted for a more vegetarian meal. I enjoyed fried rice and noodles, green veggies, beyond meat that looked like chicken (whatever sauce they put on this was amazing), veggie spring rolls, and some kind of fried wonton stuffed with cream cheese (the absolute bomb!! 💣 😋 ) She also opted for a mixed combo meal.
New Taste
I ordered general Taos chicken sauce on the side and was charged $1.50 more. On top of that the general tao was horrible.
Ordered shrimp egg foo young and the patties were all onion and egg w very little shrimp. When I called to complain the owner told me I could come back and he would remake 1 Pattie (paid order had 3). I’m done w New Taste!!

Today, we're in Spring Valley my hometown visiting relatives for the holidays. My son and I are in the process of visiting every Chinese restaurant in Chittenden County, VT. We always order the same thing. I order a chicken and broccoli combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. My son orders a sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and beef teriyaki sticks. Price: $22.75 or $.34/oz is consistent with the average price we would find in Northern Vermont. Portion: 4.2 lbs between the two meals is average. Pros: - High traffic convenient location just off Rt 59 in Spring Valley - Yellow pork fried rice had subtle tasty flavor (We find that most Chinese restaurants serving yellow rice to be rather dry and flavorless) Tasty rice is a distinctive of this restaurant - Large & tasty egg-roll with crispy shell - A side of chicken teriyaki sticks (4) were of generous portion size and quite tasty - They provided napkins and forks (albeit flimsy) Cons: - Cash only; They have an ATM inside (but who wants to pay an ATM fee if you're without cash) - They don't offer beef teriyaki sticks - They wouldn't allow us to swap an egg-roll appetizer for chicken teriyaki sticks. - They're still using older, smaller microwavable takeout containers which many Chinese takeouts have transitioned away from. - They didn't provide soy sauce packets, duck sauce packets, or fortune cookies. - The windows haven't been washed in years - Overall restaurant appearance seems unclean and a bit run down Impression: Convenient location in the heart of Spring Valley offering average portion size with good food flavor but poor curb appeal, earning Lucky Foong's a 3.0 star review.
I highly recommend NO ONE goes and eats their food. I’m pregnant and I found a cockroach in my food. It’s scary if I could of got sick because of it. I know a lot of family and children eat here so it’s upsetting. I went to get my money back and they were so rude about it. The health department gets a hold of this and their done.

Well the food isn’t that bad but 20 dollars for wing with shrimp fried rice and a small thing of gizzards that’s insane!!! My last time spending money there.
It depends on what you order. My chicken on the stick was dry and tasted old. My food came in bags instead of take-out plates. The food quality is not up to par. They change the price constantly. Your best bet is to order online than ordering over the phone so you wont get charged extra. Last time I ordered shrimp the smell was bad, and the taste sour. - Update I spent 30 minutes in the restroom dealing with diarrhea after eating here. This is my last time going here.
Maple Avenue
I love it here the chicken is super good the rice and everything is good and there service is super good to I recommend
I order from here frequently... weekly ( Shh don’t tell anyone ) 😭 Great people !! Very clean .... Even lost my wallet one time and they let me pay later ... Maybe because at this point we are family 😩😂😂😂😂😂🤌🏽
Number One
USED TO BE The best Take Out Chinese in Spring Valley. You can call to order ahead but no delivery. They're also very flexible when it comes to dietary restrictions. Update 08/13/24: Stir fried foods have become extremely really oily lately. Please lay off the oil & go back to original recipes from a yr+ ago. Thanks Update 09/25/24: Food is still super oily, so much so that you can see the oil pooling around & on top of sauce. It's seriously unappetizing & nauseating...
Tasty, quick service, cleanly atmosphere. Always busy . Staff are friendly
