Pan Asia Buffet
One of the popular buffet restaurants in North County. Located in the busy shopping area, close to Costco. Parking close by could be an issue but they do have ample parking if you are okay with 5 mins walk. Food here is okay. The place is packed so it can look very chaotic. But it is a buffet and it's popular, so it is a good thing. Most of the food actually tastes good. Some were hit and miss. Overall, I would recommend this place.
They have really spruced the place up! Very clean, and friendly staff. The food was very good and I have absolutely no complaints. HIGHLY recommend you try the croissants, I know it seems weird but they are wildly the best croissants I have ever experienced. I have had croissants at any place that serves them and for some crazy reason at this particular buffet someone puts their heart and soul into every one they make. The croissants get a personal 10/10! Eat your shorts France.
Curry Craft Nordahl - Indian Restaurant & Catering Services
My friend invited me to an Indian buffet in San Marcos for lunch. The food was great, and they had a wide variety of dishes for me to try. I’ve had Indian food before, but I don’t remember much about it, so it was nice to see the names of the dishes displayed. Of course, I tried everything! The staff at the restaurant were friendly and kept checking if everything was okay. I also loved that they had both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a really nice ambiance.
Amazing Indian food, quality and service is there every time. Price is very fair for everything. The curry, custard and butter chicken are some of the best items on the menu. Will gladly come back every time I’m craving some good Indian! 🫕🥘
Sushi On - Japanese Restaurant
I love this place! Sushi was fresh, staff were friendly, and service was amazing! I highly recommend calamari tempura and mushroom special. The salmon sashimi was exceptionally fresh and had a buttery texture which literally melted in my mouth! The uni was so rich and creamy. Their rolls were also impressive! I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes. Thank you for the quality food :)
Our new sushi spot! Everyone working here is so friendly and on top of it. Sushi is very fresh and their pricing is reasonable, especially their happy hour (3-6). We followed Christina here after she left her previous sushi place, she’s amazing! We have been here a couple of times already and our family will be back again soon.
Panda Express
For a fast casual Chinese place, this place rocks! Food is fresh and ready to serve. No wait. Tasty and not to salty. The Rangoons are disappointing though, they need more flavor. White rice was decent, not sticky but not too dry. Chicken is well cooked and fresh. Not cheap but not too bad. About $14 per person.
Where to begin.. this location is in a busy center with a Costco and Walmart so I thought I would try coming here when they open to get the freshest food. I ended up receiving burned steak that I paid $1.50 more for. Small, hard and burned pieces that were inedible. No survey code on bag so here we are with a 1 star review. Employees were not prepared for customers despite being open for more than 30 minutes. Employees laughly loudly in dining area and talking to each other in Spanish. Overall avoid this location at all costs.
Panda Express
When you are a hungry goblin, and in a food desert shopping center, Panda Express starts to look really good. This time it also tasted good, too! This place is one of few eateries consistently open in the shopping center. However, does not stop the people here from being friendly to us all and also gave us a little bit extra for our orders. This place is at least a guarantee you'll fill up before you take off.
Don’t go to this location. The kids working the drive through poked a hole in my cup as a prank. Could hear them laughing handing me the cup. Drained into my cup holder.
