Asia Delight
Don't let the look fool you. They still got the plug on decent Chinese food. It's not the best, but it's filling and most of the time fresh. Some foods after the rush can be dry and over sauced. Thin noodles tap in.
Update: portions seem to be smaller than before. Also a few doughy pieces of fish and spicy chicken...but prices are still reasonable. Great Chinese to go dishes. Party trays also available. Very nice people. They don't cheat on quantity as well as quality. Very reasonable prices.
Asia Delight Express
Really good food, I can't finish because of the large portions. I loved the chicken, I ordered the chicken fried rice, sesame chicken and orange chicken. The drinks are definitely cheaper than 7-11 would be, and if you ask for a bottle opener they will provide. Really good food and great service!
OMG! This restaurant is a hidden Gem. San Leandro has it. If you have not been here yet YOU ARE MISSING OUT!! Este restaurante asiático es muy delicioso 😋. Mongolian beef no spaice super delicious 😋
Hong Kong Cafe
I’ve often visited Vietnamese restaurants around this area but never tried this one before. The main reason was that, from the outside, the windows and the area around the entrance looked cluttered and unclean. However, today, I found out my usual Vietnamese spot was closed, and since I was already hungry, I decided to give this place a shot. To my surprise, the interior was modern, clean, and well-designed, which was quite unexpected. Once I got the menu, I was amazed by the sheer variety of dishes. It featured not only fusion options similar to what you’d find at a leisure café but also traditional Hong Kong-style dishes. There were so many choices that I spent a long time deciding what to order. I ended up trying the stir-fried beef with ginger, onion, and green onion, which was excellent, as were the sweet and sour spare ribs. However, the seafood soup was far too watery, and the baked meat sauce spaghetti was disappointing. It seems like they’re trying to offer too many options, which might be diluting their quality. I think they should focus on their specialties and narrow down the menu a bit to refine what they’re best at. Still, the sweet and sour pork spare ribs and the stir-fried beef were so delicious that I’ll definitely come back again.
Always loved taking food to go from here but this time stopped in for a quick lunch. Place was quite busy during a weekday but parking was not too bad in the lot in front. Got the omelette fried rice, garlic romaine, and the salted egg fried mushroom. The latter was especially good and tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. And the place was bright and clean. Will come back again when I’m in the area.
Hunan Restaurant
This location restaurant has been open for many years. The staff is amazing and knows my family real well when we go in and order or place orders. Usually we get orders to go and sometimes dine in. Parking is in the back of the restaurant and sometimes it is hard so it's more convenient to order to go. But everything tastes amazing and feels like it's a nice home cook meal.
I have known the restaurant's owner for many years. Her name is Vanessa. She is very friendly, and the food is delicious. The best part is that if you need to substitute something from the food, she gladly does it for you. Other restaurants don't allow that, but she does, and I love that.
Peking Garden Restaurant
Enjoyed the sizzle of that black pepper beef platter, and really liked the flavor of the mu-shu filling, which tasted much like a good chow mein dish. Not quite as into the appetizer platter, as they were too greasy for my taste. But based on the rest, I'll be back!
Dropped by to dine in. Been going to this place for a while but it was only for takeout. The place has old school chinese restaurant vibes. The food is the star here. Everything tasted better right out of the kitchen. The service was okay. When we went there was plenty of parking and seats. Overall a gem in the area.
China Cook
Now because eggs are expensive they no longer put eggs in the fried rice yet charge the same price. The rice tasted dry today and now I see why.
Sorry guys I’ve tried to give this place a good review I’ve been here multiple times and it was the same. No flavor in the fried rice and chow mein. Broccoli beef was also plain in sorry not worth spending your money here specially with this rising economy that puts us in a place to pick where we spend our money.
House Cafe
I ordered their Basil Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and Orange Beef. The Kung Pao Chicken had quite a lot of veggies. The Orange Beef was the best; it was delicious and sweet just like I like it. I would definitely come back to try more of their dishes. The restaurant recently reopened under the new name on August 27 2018. The staff were very nice and polite and the restaurant interior was very clean.
I love the tofu beef on the steam rice. The black pepper beef was really tasty, but I was not aware the food was spicy. Everything else I will still going back to taste them.
