Cons: -over priced -portions are small -broccoli and beef was *literally* grey -sesame chicken was soggy????? -chow mein was just not good. -cleanliness of the restaurant is NOT GOOOOOD. Dusty everywhere. What USED to be the dining room, is closed off and they have a bunch of random junk in there. I saw a tray sitting there drying out some food? Original ownership was good, everything else has not been good! Pros: -service was quick 😅

Got lots of food here last night with my family. Good food and nice staffs. They even packed the food well too, Would definitely order again

I saw the reviews too late. Chicken chow mein with no chicken, and it looks pale Af. Fried rice has no fried rice, basically looks pale as well. With no veggies no nothing. I thought it was brown rice or something but its supposed to be fried rice. Maybe the cook was having a bad day because i dont remember it being like this.

Good food and tasty, service was good ,small restaurant but they have everything for us to eat

No dine in! But the food was delicious and generously portioned. Service was fast, food fresh and of a good quality. I’ll go back for take out. Location is right off the 880, adjacent to a clean and well run motel. Not very noticeable from the road, parking in the back.

As a Cantonese American, I was very disappointed by the wonton noodle soup which tasted and look nothing like what the authentic dish would be...there was no shrimp in it and they used chow mein for the noodles instead of thin egg noodles. This place is really affordable but I would probably pay more to eat somewhere more authentic.

Great food and good portions for the price.

When I’m in the area I always visit this place, service is great, tons of authentic delicious Chinese dishes to choose from and dine in is back in operation. Definitely will be back!

I've been working nearby and decided to try this place because it was close. It doesn't look like much from the outside and the inside isn't super fancy but the food is amazing. The general chicken was particularly good as the coating on the chicken was the perfect amount of crispy and the sauce was delicious. I'll be back here for sure.

Love coming here on the weekends. Love building my own soup. Customer service is always 👌 very detailed to their customers👍

I love this place. It's a make your own Asian style soup. It's honestly the best soup I've ever had. My favorite broth is the Tam yam. It's a Thai style broth with ginger and lemongrass flavors. Seriously the best soup broth I've ever had in my life. My favorite to add is the fish they provide. It's so fresh and mild tasting. I always make my soup with udon noodles, beef, spinach, fish, mushrooms, and bean sprouts with the tom yam broth. Comes out to about $16 for a huge bowl of soup I usually can't finish in one sitting. The price is based on weight of items so be careful putting too much of heavy items if you're worried about price. There are many noodles to choose from and lots of other options. They can also stir fry ingredients with rice if you don't want soup. If you're scared of spice then don't get it or make sure you get mild. Their medium is quite spicy. It's seriously the best soup I've ever had I recommend coming to this place if you want fantastic soup. I love how I can make it exactly like how I want it. Service is super fast too you'll get your food in just a few minutes after you pay. And the people who work here are really nice.

Dropped by here over the weekend. Been coming here for years, long before the pandemic. Been to other places that sell dumplings too. Some of those places sell premium dumplings too. The dumplings at this place are good. On par with the expensive places around the bay, even in LA. The service is okay. The atmosphere is casual. Definitely my go to pot for dumplings.

I ordered the braised eggplant with fish garlic sauce, and the pork noodle dish. While each dish was cooked with precision, the flavors failed to leave a lasting impression. Despite their culinary craftsmanship, the flavors lacked the depth and vibrancy I had hoped for, leaving me searching for ways to enhance the taste so I added soy sauce and chili sauce. The restaurant serves as a casual outing, However, for those in pursuit of culinary enchantment and gastronomic delight, it may be worth exploring other dishes for a more captivating experience. There were fresh dumplings being made, so if I come back, I will definitely order some of those. The restaurant was pretty, quiet, and a tip I would give to the owner is to play some music in the background.

The food and service here are excellent. Although it is takeout only, some seating is available; however, I've only seen family members using that section. The consistency in serving the tastiest food in the area is a testament to their skill in preparing meals. The chicken wings are superb.

This place is great. The food is tasty, generously portioned, and sold at very reasonable prices. It is slightly plain but that is perfect. If someone wants more, they can add some sauce. Otherwise, the light seasoning highlights the ingredients themselves. Definitely try it out. Top quality.

I was in the area working so I decided to get me some salt and pepper prawns with fried rice and a order of dried fried ribs. When I tell you the dried fried ribs were literally fried to a crisp. They fried them so hard there was no meat on them.the fried rice Was fine, except for the shrimp that they fry to a crisp as well. I decided to go back and give them another try and ask them to just remake the food, but it became such a hassle back-and-forth so I ended up just getting my money back. I would definitely never go here if I’m in the area of San Leandro again this would definitely not be the last result. Customer service is everything you do not need to be rude to people that are investing into your company.

Greetings, A lady was reviewing this spot on you tube. She called it legendary so I knew I had to try it. When I got there I could smell the food outside of the establishment which is usually a good sign. I ordered the General Chicken lunch special. I'm going to get right to the point. THE FOOD SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! Yawl call this crap legendary? Your out of your mind. The lunch special was terrible. The General chicken was spicy as HELL. I could barely eat it and i'm a spice head and the fried rice?, 🤣. That crap was a slap in the face to all good Chinese cooks. It taste like package rice. No onions and tge egg looked old. My fried rice at home is way better. If eye closed my eyes and ate that crap I wouldn't even know it was Chinese food. This was one of the worse Chinese specials I ever had and worse of all I have to carry this crap around in my body until it is digest. That's why I don't like to go off of reviews. This place has four and a half stars out of 5. 🤣🤣🤣. This place is a joke and I worn you to stay the HELL away. The absolute worse food I've had in a long time. I rarely eat out and this is why. These Chinese food places are cutting corners to make a profit and they are not authentic at all like there great grand parents in the 70's and 80's. That goes for Mexican food too. It all sucks and will have your ass in the hospital. I'm done!!!!!! These people are cheap and their ingredients are not authentic. What a waste of time and $.

Heard through the grapevine about this new restaurant. went for dinner today at 5:30 pm. The food was great, space is beautiful. The sweet and sour pork chop is a standout! delicious!!!! my son loved the half chicken.he ate the whole thing with the fried rice. I’m telling all my friends and family and going back soon.

So far enjoying the food here a lot. From the baked spaghetti or rice dishes, wonton soup, butter melon dishes, to their authentic HK milk tea. Make sure to come early (before 11:45) during the weekend, or be prepared to wait for a table. The restaurant gets very busy from 11:45am onwards and not only it is a wait for a table, but also getting the waiter/waitress attention to order and even to pay the bill. So plan accordingly. The baked dishes and the sizzling plates takes 15-30 minutes extra so if you are planning to have these, order immediately when you’re seated, or go early so they are ready when you expect to have your meal.

My personal favorite dish is their House special pan fried noodles. The portion of this was insane, this itself can feed 4 people. Love the vegetables, squid, shrimp,…. on top of the noodles. The toppings are cooked with this slightly thick sauce which drenches the fried noodle making it some parts of it crunchy and some of it soft/soggy. I grew up eating this dish and so I’m almost always ordering this dish. My second favorite dish is their honey walnut shrimp. This is always a hit at every family dinner I have and so I just had to order it. Their shrimp had a bite to it and a bouncy texture. It was cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered: - $20.95 Honey Walnut Shrimps - $25.95 Beef cubes and scallop with teriyaki sauce - $24.95 Pickled dried vegetables/Braised pork belly with sweet potato leaves - $20.95 House special pan fried noodles - $19.95 Salt and pepper pork chops - $9.95 Marinated tofu

First time have been here, everything is soooo amazing, it is 200% if my expectations. The seafood are must try, and also Braised pigeon is a must try too, there so much thing I want to try next time👍👍👍👍

Fast service and a hefty amount of food hot and ready. I always order veggie chow mein with fried fish and lemon chicken. The fish is perfectly fried and flakey while the lemon chicken is tender and juicy, and don’t forget to get some chili oil! The prices have gone up for a plate just like everything else in the world going up in price. Go figure

I come here to get my fried wonton and it's delicious and crispy and it's only a dollar but you get six. I've eaten the fried chicken too and it was delicious also. The customer service is excellent and it does have a few tables to sit down and eat.
