夸父炸串 Kwa Food Deep Fried Skewers
The most flavorful and authentic kebabs I've had since I came to America. The meat is fresh and flavorful. I visit this restaurant once a month, and their vegetarian dishes are highly recommended.
Got the chicken gizzard, pork, and fish tofu Favorite was the fish tofu. Will come back for the lamb and other skewers that were sold out
Mister Jiu's
No exaggeration… best Peking Duck I’ve had in my life. We had the 6 course dinner that was a surprise with every dish. Innovative, complex and a delight to the senses. Not a mystery why they have earned a Michelin star. Service was impeccable and served with passion for the food. ALDA was incredible ! She was knowledgeable, worldly and her love for this establishment and its products showed through. We had to ask Ethan to come to the table so we could express our gratitude. Fantastic food, hospitality and artistry.
The servers went above and beyond for giving us a great anniversary. The food was pretty good, but it was a bit steep for the price. A lot of the dishes were creative. Depending on the seating location, the background noise can be very loud at sometimes.
Spicy King
Ordered delivery and was not disappointed. Food was delicious and authentic- especially the Hand Shredded Cabbage Stir-Fried with Chili, Chongqing Numbing Spicy Noodles, and Tea Smoked Duck! Highly recommend these 3. Just okay was the Dan Dan Noodles. Spicy Wonton w/ Chili Oil was also good though it wasn't spicy enough.
My son and I stumbled upon Spicy King when visiting China Town, and we loved our meal there. The atmosphere was great. It seemed modern and traditional and bold and precious all at the same time, and it worked! Our waitress was kind and gave made recommendations for dietary restrictions. We were served a nice pot of tea. I had the house cold noodles and green onion pancakes, and both were delightful. My mouth is watering now thinking about it!
The Spicy Shrimp
Pros: quick service, decent food, rice noodles made fresh to order Neutral: quick meals served on paper plates, definitely not a place to impress a date.. Cons: dimly lit, some parts of the restaurant has an odor, sticky tables
The portion size are HUGE. I went another person, and we ordered two cheung fun and a seafood congee ($27ish with tip). We thought it was gonna be small, but it fed both of us to the rim. The food was amazing, and the price of it was very cheap also. However, do NOT expect good service and good atmosphere. You go here only for the food.
Utopia Cafe
Noodle house at chinatown. They are specialized in lo mien. It is dry noodle. The noodle is good. The portion is generous on the noodle, but the braised beef is not much. Wonton is yummy and generaous. Price is considered cheap, and it is cash only. The place was quiet and not busy when we arrived. The worker doesn't speak english, so be patient.
