Sat Sept 28 2024. Ordered the Steamed Soup Pork Dumplings, Shanghai Style Pan-Fried Pork Buns, Signature Crab meat Claypot rice, and Chinese yam with Black Fungus. The Steamed Soup Pork Dumplings had good pork but the dumpling wrapper was quite thick and elastic which was different. I was not too sure about it but the inside was good. The Shanghai Style Pan-Fried Pork Buns were a decent introduction for someone who has not had this style pork bun before but it was very average of the pack for this bun. The Signature Crab meat Claypot rice did not have as much crab meat as anticipated however the flavors were very aromatic and pleasant. The claypot rice inside was nice and crispy too as we got to that part of the bowl. And finally, the Chinese yam with Black Fungus was a great idea for a plate of greens to add to your order. These yams were a good quality and the Black fungus was smooth and soft. I would definitely recommend this location for larger group sizes than just 2 in order to take advantage of the variety of dishes on offer and because the price to portion ratio feels slightly to be desired. I want to say this was an isolated experience but we were seated in the far corner of the back patio and it appeared the waitstaff was almost a two person show, one waitress and her manager. Our table was missing water glasses, water, napkins and saucers. It became a constant struggle to get the waitress and the manager’s attention to retrieve these items for us. This appeared to be a semi busy day with 60% table occupancy. My understanding was that this was a newly opened restaurant but it seems they need more staff to serve tables, especially for on a weekend. I hope improvements will be made to service.

We had a great dinner here—ordered the basil beef, boiled wontons in chili oil, steamed barbecue pork buns, and the steamed shrimp har gow dumplings. Everything was SUPER tasty, though the boiled wontons in chili oil were not my preference. Barbecue pork buns and shrimp har gow were hot and soft, very fresh! We thought it would be nice if the basil beef had the option to come with rice, but it was delicious on its own. I am really glad that noe valley finally has a dumpling restaurant! Also, dogs are allowed for those wondering, and there is a TON of outdoor seating in the back in a really nice setting.

Sweet and sour chicken was outstanding. The place is a little pricey but tasty. Limited seating makes dining in a problem when it’s raining. Also, wouldn’t hurt the female cashier to be slightly friendly to customers JM2C. In contrast, shout out to Alex who was super nice and friendly recommending his favorites on the menu. Cheers!

We drove up here from the South Bay with a friend to eat here after seeing a video on Instagram about their Double Happiness meal (fancy fried fish sandwich with caviar). We arrived at 11:30AM, and were surprised that immediately thereafter two other parties entered too. A good sign for a place to have a solid contingent of customers right when it opens. We ordered the aforementioned Double Happiness meal, sweet and sour chicken rice plate, tingly fried chicken sandwich combo with hot and sour soup, jasmine tea soda, and pineapple tonic water. The sandwich was quite good, it’s too bad we live so far!

So here we are again, trying a new place in a neighborhood which I haven't spent much time in. Somehow the evening called for Chinese food and we decided to give Eric a try. One thing is for sure. Eric has left the building or an apprentice with the same name took over the cooking. Let's start from the beginning. Eric's can make a name for itself for the fastest fast food restaurant, even McDonald's could learn from Eric's. We sat down, we place the order of three dishes and they all arrived in under 2 min. Ouch, that was the first warning sign, the 2nd warning sign , they all looked the same. The 3rd warning sign, they all tasted the same. Dear chef, you don't need to dislike your craft that much. The beef was already dead. No need to drown it XO Sauce a 2nd time around. Same goes for the egg plant, please cherish this beautiful vegetable, don't take your frustrations out on it. 5000 years of Chinese cuisine and that's what you came up with? Just take a fork and stab me, it would be less painful. Yes the interior is pretty nice.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, and was really impressed with the food! It came out super fast, the service was nice, and the atmosphere is chill. We ordered three dishes: Eric’s Spicy Eggplant, General Tso’s chicken & Snow Peas Moo Goo chicken. They were all great dishes and will absolutely be ordering them again. Don’t skip Eric’s spicy eggplant!

Super super * Salty* Was feel so hungry before I came. When I eat a bite, OMG. I better back to Bay Area any Chinese restaurant, (any) also better than this restaurant.

I’ve only ever ordered takeout and I can say it’s the best beef fried rice I’ve had recently. Not greasy and very flavorful. The won ton soup was good but left more to be desired, however I ate it side by side with the rice and it was pure flavor perfection! This place is fried rice heaven and they’re always very nice and helpful during pickup/checkout

Henry’s Hunan is a SF institution that used to have locations across the city. COME GET DIANA’s SPECIAL!!! An invention of the founder and named after his wife. It is my favorite dish in the world and Henry’s is the only place you can get it. Everything is fabulous, from their homemade dumplings, to string beans w meat sauce, to chicken salad, to other entrees like Henry’s shredded pork. You can choose your spice levels, from mild to kick your butt spicy. I cannot recommend this piece of SF history enough.

So delicious! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the Mongolian beef and it was amazing. The food is high quality and the menu is extensive with many appealing options. Already can’t wait to come back!

The most friendly service with huge portions of delicious Chinese takeout, including free egg soup! This has become one of my favorite spots on 24th, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable takeout spot.

The Lady Who Usually serves me is a really sweet lady. She is also quick, but not rushed so I have never experienced any problems with any orders. They have been in the neighborhood for awhile and I like giving my business to them as. They are the only Asian restaurant of their type for quite some distance.
