Had the whole restaurant for ourselves on a quiet weekday lunch hour. First time dining here and pretty impressed with what we ordered! Would skip Calamari, didn’t taste fresh! Fried rice and cumin lamb were some of the best dishes we had in a while!

Their iron pot is one of my favorite comfort foods in the city. It's perfect for when I want to feel full of warmth and joy while craving something spicy and flavorful. The portion size of the vegetarian small iron pot ($30.99) is generous and can easily be shared between 2-3 people, or enjoyed solo and split into multiple meals! Pairs well with rice.

Food is delicious and good portion. I enjoy this place, my to go when hungry.

Delicious authentic Cantonese food! Came on a weekend with my family and everything was hot and fresh. Also, super reasonably priced. It's hard to find authentic family owned restaurants these days, so this was a real treat! We ordered salt and pepper spareribs, eggplant with minced pork and preserved vegetable, stir fried beef cubes, stir fried cauliflower and pork, and my favorite fried stuffed tofu. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner including takeout and catering, will definitely come back again!

So I was hungry for some pork chow mein and in the area. Other reviews said this place was good, so I stopped in. Boy, were they wrong... First off, it was prime evening dinner time on New Years Day. There was only 1 table eating in the place. It is a small dining area where 8 maybe 10 tables. The lady at the register greeted me and took my order, which after seeing the place, I ordered to go instead of eating there. I ordered the pork chow mein that I was craving and a beer while I waited. There was (what I assume to be a family member or staff member) with his head down and slumped by the register, and a very unhappy vibe coming from him, not saying anything but staring at me. This was uncomfortable, to say the least, but it gets even worse.... I get my order and go outside. I open the bag, and there are no napkins. The chopsticks are super thin and can barely hold food, and there is o ly a very small thing of a chili sauce.. maybe one ounce at best. The food itself was just plain bad. The noodles were bland, and that's ALL THERE WAS....NOODLES.... I ate the entire plate, and it only had 3 bites of pork and no veggies besides a couple ( literally 2 or 3) shreds of carrots . When I finally got to tell the bottom of the plate, there were a few more scraps of pork and a small piece of green onion... (see picture included). When I think of good chow mein, I can see plenty of meat and veggies. This was the exact opposite. For almost $20, I expect a lot more than bland noodles and no meat and veggies. If I could give the place 0 stars, I would... Avoid this place if you can help it.

Great food + atmosphere. This husband and wife duo are a great addition to the neighborhood. We should support and continue to support small businesses like theirs. Food is great and satisfying!

Pretty darn good food. Finally stopped by after driving by for a couple of years and thinking that no one ever came here. First, it's now obvious that they do a lot of takeout business, and second, the food is really yummy. The spinach-mushroom bao bun is pretty decent, and the chicken and green bean entree has some really nice flavors happening. Will definitely come back to try more items.

Clean kitchen, awesome food, open late… what more do I need to say? Try the walnut shrimp

The food is EXCELLENT. Definitely come here for the food. Especially the clay pot dishes. Service was also attentive and prompt. However, our experience was knocked down several notches due to the front door that was constantly either being blown open by the wind (they need to fix the hydraulic hinges to keep the door closed properly) or by patrons who ignored the "PULL/PUSH" signs on either side of the door and kept opening the door inward which further aided the wind pushing the door open. If you eat here (which I highly suggest you do, as the food is delicious), I suggest you do so on a day that is not windy or sit at a table not near the entrance.

Located on Geary Blvd near 4th Avenue in the Richmond District San Francisco. The owner is very nice. Unfortunately the wait staff could use some customer service training. What we ordered: 1.) Winter Melon Soup not bad could use a bit more seasoning. 2.) Ginger Chicken. The waitress messed this up by putting a Gravy over the chicken which is not what we wanted. Tasted ok chicken was right… 3.) Beef Chow Fun this was very good beef was tender. 4.) Fried pork spareribs this was not bad. 5.) Seafood Tofu Clay Pot again this was not prepared the way it was ordered. So did not great tasting. 6.) Pea spouts in ginger garlic. The taste was good but the sprouts were chewy.

New spot for a lunch special. Comes with a bed of rice and 3 items. Since I came with other people, I was able to try a lot of the options. Most notable was the soft tofu and fish balls and the chicken curry. I like that there is a variety of vegetables. The special is a great amount of food. It is also nice that they have a dine in option which has been clean each time.

Lunch specials. 3 entrances + rice = $8.50. This got to be the cheapest in the area. It’s traditional Chinese food. So most customers are Chinese. But, if you come with an open heart and open stomach. It may be a good surprise.

Ordered Uber delivery!! Delicious Salted fish n Pork patty claypot rice. Came with free soup too !!!

They’re fast but I wish the crust was more full, good variety of clay pots. Also not all the meats were super good quality like the Chinese sausage could be better. Good that they serve with soup.

I love this place, favorite bbq shop on Clement. I only wish they were open Mondays because that’s the easiest day for me to get there. Been going for years when I can, service has always been just fine. As for atmosphere, it’s takeout so what do you expect.

I popped in for some quick Chinese takeout, and it seemed like they were undergoing partial construction. I ordered the deep-fried salt and pepper shrimp, chicken wings (which were a bit under-seasoned and greasy), and their Chinese sticky rice, which lacked flavor and needed soy sauce to enhance it. Surprisingly, these three dishes at half a pound each totaled $32, which was a bit higher than expected. They accept credit cards but require a minimum of $15 minimum. The parking in the area is always an issue. No free lots. While convenient for locals, it's not worth going out of the way for given the many other comparable options nearby.

Enjoyed the super savory chicken sandwich and the mango oat milk sundae here. The breading on the chicken is very tasty and crispy, though the sandwich admittedly has an absurd amount of aioli/mayo. Oat milk ice cream was beautifully silky and the sharp mango topping was perfectly refreshing.

ordered the tingly chicken sandwich and it was so delicious. waited around 15min but there weren’t that many people. the chicken was juicy and fried really well, crispy but not overdone, and the spice and sauces were all really delicious as well. the pineapple bun was fluffy and complemented the spice well. i liked the spicy sauce it came with and the pickled veggies as well. not sure about the rest of their menu but would definitely come back for the sandwich again, and to try their other sandwiches!

We enjoyed the dim sum takeout items overall, but the best was the hargow and siu mai. The turnip cakes were also good. They only had plain rice noodles available at the time. It was a little thicker than we are used to. They did not provide the usual sauce for the rice noodle. And they also do not have hot sauce. Wish they had seating for customers. It was a bit of a long wait because there was only one staff but eventually a second one came along to help because a line was forming. Service was perfunctory.

Good prices. Soft and plump shrimp and chive dumplings, bbq pork buns and soft and not too salty, pork dumplings wrapped in wonton skins are huge.

It is very busy place, and we were lucky that we booked ahead. Food was not that tasty. We had cold chicken and the amount of bones was too much. Tofu was taking their time, we waited for a while, tofu was very good. We enjoyed it. Beef dumplings taste pretty much pork. Overall not bad experience.

Wasn’t able to try the peking duck, but wow! Food here was amazing! The pickled sichuan fish soup was exceptional! So good and soothing, while a bit spicy! The other dishes were also very well made! You always need to have some authentic Chinese food once in a while. Super recommended!
