We happened to come across this restaurant while looking for a place for lunch near our hotel in Embarcadero. The one we were going to was closed so we started wandering around the financial district. Saw the sign & decided Chinese food sounded good. It’s a small, no frills place either limited seating but since it was a little past lunch rush, there was only one table occupied. We were vegetarian for the day so I decided to try the lunch special which was spicy basil tofu with rice and my husband ordered the kung pao tofu. Both the dishes were so good! We polished off the good sized portions. So glad we discovered this little gem in the financial district.

This restaurant is one of the few Asian restaurants in the financial district that is legit. They have counter seating and also small wooden chairs and tables, the cashier was nice and the food came out quickly. I ordered the Hanoi pho with beef and meatball, it was good although I wasn’t use to the mild sesame flavor in a pho broth. The meat was nice and tender, easily breakable with the wooden dispensable chopsticks. I’ll definitely be back to try other items.

The last time we ate here was over 10 years ago. My wife and I still remember this place because the food was very delicious. We just had to come back since we are visiting SF with the family. I highly recommend to try everything, lol. The food is very flavorful. Make sure to make room for the Sesame Balls and Egg tarts. We waited about 30-40 minutes for a party of 4 adults and a baby. It's a bit pricey, but then again your in SF. It's worth it. The bathrooms are very clean. 5 stars all the way. Great food and service.

While I am not familiar with dim sum this was a delicious meal with a knowledgeable friend. Each item had terrific flavors and some were enhanced by the hot mustard or soy sauce available—or red pepper oil. Staff were prompt, courteous and efficient at all times. Highly recommended.

Not to be confused with the famous San Jose vietnamese cuisine version. This Lee's serves made to order sandwiches, dim sum & by the pound Chinese Buffett to the hungry downtown breakfast & lunch crowds. I personally like that their dim sum while a little pricey, has never tasted stale & that the Buffett goes on happy hour after 3ish pm making it a steal for late lunch or early dinner. Noted for good, fast and affordable Chinese food on market street. Humble but friendly Chinese ladies run this place so if you can, please tip kindly!

This is a place where you can get Chinese food sold by the pound. It’s a good place to get a quick lunch downtown. This location still exists. Many other Lee’s Deli locations are not open right now.

Was happy to find both Hong Kong and Shanghai style dumplings in one restaurant. The Xiao long bao and the Siu Mai were wonderful and reminded me why I like Asian flavours. The Xiao long bao came with its own cookie container making it easy to enjoy. The Siu Yak (pork Belly) was wonderful. The skin was ultra crispy. The mustard with it was sharp and added to the wholeness of the dish. The beans with the pork mince were absolutely delightful. The beans were crisp, salty and yum. Could survive on them. The signature beef was tender but too sweet for my liking. The seafood fried rice could be a whole meal and didn’t need anything else with it. The restaurant is large and can be a bit noisy, but that added to the atmosphere. Should have gone with a larger group so that could have sampled more of the menu. Will be back.

In one word, Awesome. superb restaurant, great and authentic service, extremely tasty food, resemble to the food I ate in China. will clearly come back. We were party of four and tasted from large variety. ended up with $110 per couple including tax and tip. Be aware that the restau is crowded in the evenings
