Discovered this place when the weather was a bit chilly, and I was craving something spicy. Good amount of selection of veggies and proteins. They are having a $1 beer promo, which is a delight. The pork and black garlic broth extra spicy was tolerable, and I could do firey spicy (buldak spicy level). They also have free tea/hot water station.

Love this place. Super fresh ingredients and delicious broth. My favorite is the black garlic broth medium spicy. So flavorful. I come here with my wife and kids 2-3x per week:).

A great restaurant, the food tastes very authentic! I ordered garlic ribs, Picked long bean with minced pork , beer duck, big bowl of cauliflower, and every dish was so delicious! I love it, absolutely recommend, I will come again!

Super authentic and delicious spot with funny branding. TVs had a food show going that made us even hungrier. Loved the texture of the tofu and Szechuan chicken and flavors were excellent. Not exceedingly spicy. We will definitely be back!!

Delicious food, off the beaten path, yet worth it. Fresh, high quality chicken The sesame chicken was unique and delightful. The buns and dumplings were incredible. I devoured them without much of an appetite, literally that good. The staff works hard to keep things flowing.

We had two w sum dishes , and the Singapore rice noodles. Both were delicious, freshly made, and I particularly enjoyed being able to pick which kind of protein for the Singapore rice noodles. Big portions, reasonable prices, leftovers for tonight!

February 2024: Enjoyed a family dinner on a Thursday night. We pre-ordered the chicken stuffed with sticky rice. This dish is quite enjoyable because it's fried chicken stuffed with sticky rice that has a lot of delicious ingredients mixed in. This place did a good job. Peking Duck was excellent. The skin was very crispy 😋. Fish fillet with asparagus was a Big hit too. Simple and cooked perfectly. The white chicken with ginger sauce was another good dish. Everything was tasty 😋. We ordered the pork belly taro clay pot dish that is an old time favorite and hard to find nowadays. Everyone enjoyed that too. Overall, had a nice family dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year.

Very good experience. We had Mu Shu Vegetables, Pickles with Fish Fillet, and Lotus with Fried Shrimp. So good!

This place was highly recommended by friends for authentic food. The vibe was so perfect for a cozy dinner at a local restaurant. We got the vegetarian Dan Dan, vegetarian Mapo tofu, veggie dumplings, and hot soy milk. The Dan Dan and soy milk were the best! The tofu was good- tasted standard. The dumplings were okay, we wished there was more flavor in the filling. Overall, would return!

finally tried sichuan home for lunch after hearing the rave reviews and it lives up to its accolades. cozy and comforting environment with the kindest servers, sichuan home feels like an unassuming neighborhood restaurant with amazing food. the complimentary cabbage side dish and fruit dessert were a great touch. would come back! spicy fish & chinese herb spice: the perfect spice level and packed with the mala spice flavor. large portion. highly recommend. garlic eggplant: the perfect side dish leaning on the sweeter side to offset the rest of the sichuan spice. veggie chow mein: standard fare, you know what to expect. fried chicken: don’t remember the exact name but super crispy and perfectly cooked.

Shanghai’s famous pan-fried buns 上海生煎包have finally landed in SF! The spot used to be “Old Shanghai Restaurant,老上海” now called “Baobao Dumpling” 杨生煎— same owner, location, fresh new look with a clean and modern vibe. I always get the pan fry bun, wontons soup, and Xiao long Bao, plus other small dishes… Their service also excellent! Very friendly, and attention to details! Thanks!
