Service from the little Vietnamese lady was great. Decor here is also quite pleasant. Food is pretty average/below-average. The beans were undercooked, the potatoes were over soy-sauced. The chicken had a weird flavor. I would probably ask for adjustments next time I’m here.

authentic Chinese food, tasted great, we ordered a chef special boiled spicy fish, the pot size is so big and we ends up only ordered 2 items for 3 persons (waitress suggestion), price is very reasonable, the owner is new and the waitress works 28 years for 5 generations of ownership, they welcomes customer with true heart. I wish I can return but we are tourist and leaving today, feel lucky to find this.

Positive Disclaimer: this is a quintessential working class, somewhat greasy, American-Chinese food restaurant, and that’s what makes it perfect! Came for lunch. Got the pork chowmein entre. This came with a side of friend rice, one small egg roll, and a cup of egg drop soup. First of all, the timing these came out were really fast. And the temperature was piping hot! Maybe a little too hot but that goes to show they make it right then and dish it out. Flavors were great! Only had one server for the whole floor and she was doing well to keep up. Just running around with her hair on fire.

We went there as our first customers and had Chicken egg rolls and Steamed soup dumplings as appetizers. Our main course was Chicken kung pao with chow mein and Shrimp kung pao with fried rice, but it wasn't outstanding. However, I enjoyed our appetizers, especially the egg rolls, which had more flavor, and the Steamed dumplings, which were like a soup. I added black sauce and took it in one bite. The service was great, possibly because it wasn't crowded, and the lady who served us was friendly. We even got fortune cookies that tasted like they were five years old when I chewed them, like rubber!

A nice addition to Rancho Bernardo community! We ordered salt and pepper chicken, beef chow fen, Sichuan style twice cooked pork belly and soup dumplings. The pork belly dish tasted like the one that I had in China. Salt n Pepper chicken flavor was good but chicken was thin and a bit too chewy and dry. The soup dumplings had thin wrappers and tasty soup. Overall, they were pretty good and authentic. The restaurant is spacious and pleasant and the staff was friendly. It’s a place to go back to.

First time trying it, it was really delicious. There are American and Chinese food here. We had fish and walnut shrimp. You can experience the service of the waiter. Not only that, when we finished eating, the waiter also gave us mung bean soup to cool down. It was so delicious. I feel like I want to drink more mung bean soup. my god
