China Wok Inn
Stopped by for lunch got a combo B All chow mein with jalapeño chicken and orange chicken the jalapeño chicken was better than the orange chicken but that’s not saying much because both were gross especially the horrible tasteless orange chicken that was to hard to chew definitely never coming here again unless maybe I need some donuts 🍩. Should have gone to Donahoo’s The chow mein was decent that why it go 2 ⭐️ ⭐️
First off, when it comes to portion size these guys do not play at all! The container could barely close!! A lot of food for a really good deal these days. This is a No Frills little restaurant with easy parking where you can eat inside and you don't have to be bothered about tipping a waitress. On the other side, you can get donuts for dessert and they've got a great selection. Don't let the atmosphere fool you, the food tastes great and is easy on the wallet.
Tasty Goody Express
The food can a bit on the salty and oily side, nut it's very satisfying. The service was prompt, friendly and personalized. The portion sizes are humongous (I hope they don't take this review as an excuse to downsize them!). The dining area and general ambiance look above average for this kinds of establishments. I wish they had the rooster brand sriracha bottles, soy sauce and white pepper as table condiments. Still, Tasty Goodie Express is probably one of the top Chinese American takeouts in the Pomona area. I think their egg rolls should be $1.75 or 2 for $3. Oh well, you can't have it all! Highly recommend!
I ordered kung pao shrimp a la carte and it was terrible! It was mostly water chestnuts, a few shrimp and none of the typical ingredients usually in kung Pao (see the photo). I do not recommend it.
Mr You Chinese Food
I’ve been coming to this place for a while now and the food is always delicious and the service is good… but today I surprisingly was able to catch the tiniest hair ever sticking out in the middle of my plate as I was in the middle of eating… it’s a very suspicious piece of hair that could no way be mine… be cautious
I am going to have to say it: This is my favorite fast food place of all time. Great tasting food, amazing portions and prices. One can eat a good meal for $10. My favorite dish is Salt and Pepper Shrimp. For about $13, you get 20 whole big shrimp (not de-veined) on a bed of rice or chow mein. My second favorite dish is Shrimp Pad Kee Mow (drunken noodles). If you don't want a whole Combo B, I recommend getting a bowl, it's about $8 as of November 2024 and will leave you full. The chow mein is good but often has too much onion and other veggie toppings. Same for the spicy orange chicken, way too many red peppers mixed in with the chicken. Service is very friendly, all the workers all always on point and work great as a team. I'm moving away from the area soon, but whenever I'm nearby I will stop by for old time's sake.
Home Eat汉家宴 - Fremont
Great value and yummy food! You cannot beat the price with that monthly special menu. Every successful restaurant chain has a reason, and for Home Eat, it is keeping delivering high value and bang-in-the-buck to us customers. Food wise, I am a regular visitor to other location of home eat. This shop keeps the consistence and did even better. I tried the big lamb pot this time and though with higher price tag ($65 monthly special), the amount of meat is very impressive. No regret. And it is flavorful. The country style pork is always good. Home Eat, I Cheer for you! 卷死其他店!
Food: The variety of food here is the main reason we always come to Home Eat. They have monthly specials and daily appetizers for dine in and take out as well. Service: the staff are mostly nice and they are helpful too! Ambiance: very family friendly and suitable for family style dining experience with friends.
EE Home Cooking
Decent quality food, but serious issues of quantity and price. A lunch plate (with chow mein for rice substitution) was $20. The amount of food was probably the same that you would get in a panda express order. The chow mein was almost equal parts bean sprouts than noodles, and there was much less meat than vegetables in the entrees. Refilling a glass of water cost 50¢, which is pretty crazy. If you want to support a local establishment, go ahead and break the bank, but if you just want a bite to eat, you are better off saving your money and going somewhere else.
Great authentic food. Definitely coming back
Boiling Bowl
Wow what a nice find tucked away in this little strip mall. We have not found any Chinese restaurants we really thought highly of but boiling pot is really trying hard to prove itself. We had pot stickers which were meaty and large plus pork shumai and it was also very nice and large. Really nice quality and size. Then we ordered the house special shredded beef and the shrimp with walnuts and both were fresh and I think high quality for Chinese restaurants. We also had the house special fried rice to share which was so good as well. In the end we ordered too much food because the portions were generous! So good and fresh. But we have a second dinner from the take home boxes.
Very surprised this place has authentic Chinese cuisine. I ordered beef chow fun, fried green beans and seafood hotpot last night, 干炒牛河粉,干煸四季豆角,非常地道, very authentic which I haven’t tasted for years…strong recommend this place; the service is great, we paid by card but forgot to take it back, the young server even chased to the parking lot returned to us… so we came back for lunch in the very next day. Great food and awesome service
Panda Express
Google map should update this joint as it’s shown as vacant piece of dirt, granted it’s new. It’s the typical Panda Express the usual dishes and prices. But to be honest the portion is lacking for the price you pay. The dining area is decent and clean and courteous staffs. Plenty of parking space adjacent to Jack ‘n the Box.
I just went through the Drive-through and had to write this review! I wish I would’ve looked at the guy who helped us at the windows name that he was phenomenal. You don’t get a lot of good customer service these days and I was extremely impressed. He offered us plates and extra utensils for the kids and was Extremely polite. Customer service goes a long way for me.
Panda Express
Asian worker had an attitude while serving our plates, VERY small portions, counted 6 small teriyaki pieces on double teriyaki plate. The food was not warm, chow mein tasted uncooked and was cold, total experience 1/5, would NOT recommend here.
Didn't give right portion for the fried rice and chow mien, also, the dish is over counter for too long. Chow mien i ordered on second plate didn't cook right, they didn't process throughly before they are in the wok, also either cooked over time or stay on steam table too long, they break to pieces. Add picture, you can definitely see it was tied together and didn't cooked.
Frannie Express
I came here for the good reviews and was not left disappointed. I ordered a prawns and string beans lunch special and had a choice for white rice, fried rice, or chow mein and I picked chow mein and it also came with a soup and egg roll and all for less than $14. The food was freshly made and was not overly greasy. The noodles were chewy delicious. I will come here again for take-out!
Wow. For a quick and easy meal, this place gives you enough food for lunch and dinner for under $10! It's like panda express on steroids. I recommend their spicy chicken wings with chow mein. 👌
