The delicacies of the hometown are unforgettable without thinking about them. Hometown is a long-lasting nostalgia, like a cup of hot tea, which has a long lasting flavor, and the taste of steamed dumplings brings the aroma of hometown street food. The JB King had a grand opening last month. After I ordered food, they steam/cook it immediately. After about ten minutes, the hot meals were brought out. I ordered the Combination Plate #1 today, which included Steamed Dumplings, Pan Fried Pork Buns and a bowl of Congee with Century Egg and Pork. They were yummy tummy and a real relief from my homesickness. The service was great, and people work here are very nice!

This is a new opening restaurant. There is many delicious food and it is the best price I found in the area. I like the COMBO set #1 and #2. The Pan Fried Park Bun and Beef Roll are really tasty, My wife enjoin the Shrimp Egg and Chives Pocket. Strong recommend!

I have mostly dined at either the PF Chang's at Sunnyvale or the Stanford Mall. After moving to the east bay I wanted to try out the one at Pleasanton given that the one in Fremont had permanently closed. I went out there for our anniversary dinner with my wife and daughter. We had a great server who helped us in ordering Pork Egg rolls, Singapore street noodles and Chang's spicy chicken. The pork egg rolls were a delight and an absolute recommendation. The noodles and the spicy chicken went very well together and tasted perfect. The portion sizes are quite proportional to the price. I think during busy dinner days it's better to reserve before heading out. Overall, a great experience.

Top notch PF Chang's experience. Both the front desk and our server were very friendly and cordial. The space is upscale and clean. Food tasted amazing and they honored my request to double fry the special lo mein noodles. With Walnut Creek location closed permanently I would say this is one and only really nice PFC around East Bay.

What a wonderful find!! Thanks Reddit for leading me here on a whim while searching for good JJM's in bay area. Ok, it was so good, like when u watch ppl in kdrama slurp down their JJM and u thinking that looks absolutely delicious, well it was that!!! There's alot of ingredients in the saucy bowl, a generous amount of protein mixed in with crunchiness of onions, great balance of flavors. Yummm Portion is big, had to take leftovers to go. Staff is friendly and sociable, restroom super clean. Lol I will be back to try their other dishes for sure! Thanks! *They have been around since 1987 😱💪

This is the best Chinese American* food I've ever had, hands down, no contest. Every dish is cooked fresh to order and you can taste the love and passion in every bite. The quality is unmatched: crispy, perfectly fried entrees and flavors that truly stand out. While the price might seem high at first, the portions are incredibly generous and the protein-to-price ratio is simply unbeatable. I've had the kung pao chicken and orange chicken last me for four meals before! So when is it a good time to eat here? Lunch service comes with smaller entrees, but includes a choice of fried, brown, or white rice, plus spring rolls. At dinner, the entrees are enormous and we've frequently been treated to free crab rangoons and spring rolls! But trust me: dining in is the way to go. There’s always plenty of seating, and the experience of having your food fried just minutes before it reaches your table is unforgettable. Is it worth eating in? Because nothing beats the freshness. That freshly fried crunch for their orange chicken or honey walnut prawns, which disappears within minutes, is on an entirely different level and something I haven't tasted anywhere else. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but the honey walnut prawnsa re truly to die for. My go-to order is the jiajiang mien (5th picture, the black bean paste with noodles), honey walnut prawns (3rd picture), and kung pao chicken. The fried rice with chicken is also a great safe option and the Chinese chicken salad is a great option for someone more calorie conscious. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Pleasanton and it would be a tragedy to lose it! They deserve our support, so come out and try it while you still can! * Note that I say it's Chinese American. While the name seems to suggest Sichuan food, the items on the menu are closer to Panda Express than what you'd see at a Hai Di Lao or Din Tai Fung. I haven't seen a single Szechuan pepper in any of the food 😅, but who cares, the food tastes incredible and that's what really matters!

I was pleasantly surprised when the food came to our table. The smells and tastes were lovely and the staff seemed very attuned to the atmosphere. Do take note if you have something against oily foods, it seemed pretty oily. Other than that, I like the experience, would come again to try some other savory sounding foods in the menu. 9/30/24: Came back to this place a second time. The food still tasted as great as before. This time I ordered the honey walnut prawn and general tsou's chicken. The honey walnut prawns were surprisingly different with interesting addition of sesame seeds. I couldn't believe the taste afterwards. Best honey walnut prawn I've had

Discovering Golden Chopstick in Dublin, California, was a true culinary revelation. The absence of a noteworthy Chinese restaurant in Stockton led me to venture all the way to Dublin, and it defined an experience beyond expectations. While it's undeniable that the prices lean towards the higher side, this is justified by the demographics of the location. Investing around a hundred bucks for four dishes might seem steep, but the portions are not only substantial but also incredibly delectable. The flavors are a testament to the care and skill invested in the culinary artistry. What truly sets Golden Chopstick apart is not just the food but the outstanding service. Maggie, our gracious host, ensured every aspect of our dining experience was impeccable. The attention to detail in making sure the food arrived piping hot, delicious, and ready was a testament to the commitment to customer satisfaction. Now, let's delve into the gastronomic journey itself. The Mongolian lamb was a symphony of flavors, each bite offering a delightful combination of tender meat and robust spices. The Lover's Promise lived up to its name, providing a divine experience that tantalized the taste buds. The salt pepper fish was an unbelievable culinary adventure, elevated further by the addition of a homemade chili sauce that allowed for a personalized spice level. When I come across something that defies a conventional rating scale of 1 to 10, and ventures into the realm of extraordinary, Golden Chopstick undoubtedly falls into that category. This is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that deserves a permanent place in your phonebook, contacts, or even a business card for seamless and delightful orders. Prepare for a genuine surprise with each visit to this culinary haven.

I had just finished my doctor's appointment and I had not eaten breakfast yet. I did not want fast food so I checked this place out. It is small and humble and I was greeted by a friendly girl. I looked at their dishes and didn't expect much and thought, "it's better than fast food." I ordered some things and was on my way, less than $20 for 3 items and rice. I sat in my car and ate in and it was blown away. It was possibly one of the best tasting hole in the wall Chinese food I have ever had and the one thing I noticed, it wasn't greasy and I didn't feel heavy, nor did I fall into a coma like I normally do when eating Chinese food. 10/10 I would definitely come here again.

The new restaurant provides bento box lunches with very good portions, pretty good tastes and a very reasonable price. $16 for 3 dishes w/ rice (or $2 off w/o the rice). They also have many steamed buns and braised meat to choose from.

We came here on Sunday for their weekend special dim sum menu. We ordered the sweet soybean milk, savory sweet rice roll, and pan fried nian gaw with preserved cabbage. All foods are good quality. Wait staff is friendly and service is fast. We plan on returning.

They’re open again!!! We’ve waited for a month and now they are open again. The taste is just as good as before. 02/02/2025 Good food and generous volume. Most of the meat dishes are very tasty and will come back again. The two vegetarian dishes we ordered, salt and pepper tofu and green bean sprouts, are delicious too. I wish there are less oil in the veggies.

Their Yunnan traditional crossing bridge rice noodles is really good.

Authentic Yunnan crossing-bridge rice noodle. The soup was rich and tasty. The rice noodle was cooked just right and a bit springy. Ordering was all done through a mobile app. The service was fast and friendly. The noodle arrived in just minutes.

Cannot make it. 2 days trying 2 branches (previous one in Milpitas) and this branch is a disappointment. Congee is basically water with no Cantonese taste and dim sum tasted as it was frozen for weeks and finally cooked.

Good vibe and cure my home sick as a Cantonese. Congee was on point. Chang fen was silky smooth

Best Chinese Food! All dishes come out hot, perfectly prepared and great flavor. Service is very attentive and prompt. Take out is great too!

Amazing ambience, service and food. Loved the seats near the glass windows. Reservations recommended. Great for large parties of people. Vegetarian food is very well mentioned in the menu. Quite a few options to choose from. I especially loved the spring rolls and hot and sour soup. I’d highly recommend trying out food at Andy and Yu’s!

The food was amazing and service was exceptional here! Kind of pricey but it's to be expected for being in downtown Pleasanton. Our server was very sweet, patient, and attentive. Everything we ordered was just delicious. Very flavorful and fresh. I regret not getting a photo of every dish we ordered! The restaurant itself was nice and clean. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area. Thank you for the great lunch!

Visited this restaurant on a rainy evening in November. Who doesn't love hot Chinese food in such weather, when you also have good vegetarian options available too. Garlic Eggplant appetizer was on the sweeter side and was cooked perfectly. Chow Mein was also very good. Kung Pao Tofu was lacked flavor and gravy. Was expecting an explosion in my mouth but there was none. Service was fast and every dish was served hot and fresh.

We ordered braised beef noodle soup, house special pork burger and the sliced pork with garlic sauce. We liked the noodle soup the best, the soup and the beef is so rich and tasty, and the noodle has the texture of hand pulled noodles. The pork burger is also yummy. The sliced pork with garlic sauce can use stronger garlic flavor though. Overall the food is a solid four star.

I recently visited CA Noodle, which left a big impression on me. The menu had a variety of traditional dishes, and I especially liked the seaweed salad with garlic. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a slight garlicky touch. The hot soups were another highlight—rich, flavorful, and filling, perfect for warming up on a chilly day. The large portions are impressive. The dumplings were also delicious; they had a soft dough and were filled with savory ingredients. I recommend them to anyone who loves delicious Chinese cuisine!

Stoped-by for food while at the mall! It is ok fast food! Teriyaki chicken was filling and plentiful! Good fast-food option while at the mall! One plate was night for two meals!

The fried rice hear is very fresh and fluffy. I would say it's some of the best I've had from any panda express. The service was very good as well.
