Rickshaw Chinese Restaurant
Rickshaw Chinese Restaurant is a take out only There is no option of sitting down. Henceforth it is take out only. That's a plus you won't have to take out a loan to get good healthy food. There are some benches out sde if you can't wait to get home. It is popular with locals and those in the know. Food is displayed to see sells quickly so it always fresh . Never dried out from sitting at a steam table. Some nights a hour before closing at 8pm they maybe sold out of pork fried rice or barbecue pork loin or sweet and sour pork with vegetable The sauce is not too sweet not too sour. It's like Goldilock's porridge at the home of the three bears just right. Portions are big I can barely finish a pork fried rice with a sweet and sour pork entree. $12.50 includes tax. The Chef takes pride in making good tasting food a simple menu with something for almost everyone. Yes I am a big fan of Chinese style cooking. Sometimes a simple dish made with care is just as good as a fancy complex food at 3 times the price. Highly recommend for the days you are just too tired to cook or just because you want to to enjoy their food. I only like to post positive reviews of well made foods. This is definitely positively good food enjoy
Oh I'm coming back! This is my first time here and I'm floored add how competitive these prices are Plus finally a takeout place that has lemon chicken!!! The express is the best deal for $10 I'm getting everything I want I'm a potsticker person and a lemon chicken person and they even ask you what do you want more of rice or noodles!¡ I'm unfortunately not local so I won't be able to come here as much but for this price I'm willing to make the drive!!
Uncle Chung
I've been going to this restaurant now for three decades. I currently live in San Jose and whenever I'm in the mood for some great Szechuan, I drive from San Jose to Pinole. No other Szechuan compares. If it's your first time get the "10 ingredient fried rice", "chicken chow mein", "beef and broccoli", and DO NOT forget about the "princess chicken". ENJOY! 😎
Uncle Chungs is the best. My family has been coming here since before I was born. Princess chicken and honey walnut prawns are a must. And if you like crispy noodles try your chow mein Hong Kong style. Uncle Chungs is family owned and a staple if you are anywhere close.
China Delights
I love the salt and pepper rock cod. Frid to perfection, and they add jalapeños and green onions to give it a little heat if you want.
I actually live in Texas but my family and I have been dining at China Delights every time we visit my relatives in the East Bay for the last 20 years. We also celebrate special occasions here and they never disappoint. The place is always packed! Our favorites are the honey walnut shrimp , veggie delight and beef chow fun. The food is so delicious that the leftovers maintain their flavors even after several days.
King Valley Tea House
We went here on a Monday for brunch and we’re a bit disappointed they didn’t have the dim sum carts, I guess they only do that on Sunday but we were able to order dim sum off the menu and everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely go back again but next time we will be sure to go on a Sunday because it’s just so fun picking thing out off of the carts where you can see how good everything looks.
Late Dec2024 Large round table banquet style eating ia usually the norm with the usual extensive dim sum and ala carte menu of traditional Cantonese fare. The serving sizes are typical of the American Chinese resto portions which is commonly good.for sharing. The servers are lively if not with a bit of charactee but are attentive. The atmosphere is usually audibly loud in a decently large hall with dated furnishings and equally loud old style decors. Touristy vibe but very homely and great place for large groups to gather and dine together
Panda Express
Ryan has really great customer service. They were being faced with delays on some of the food because it was peak hours. But, he handled it as best as possible. He made sure I wasn’t forgotten and made me feel like my time was really valued. I normally never leave reviews but I wanted to write this so hopefully he gets recognition for his good work and his high quality professional customer service.
Clean by service and the server. Brian did a great job 1-30-2024 9:20 p.m. I highly recommend this area. This location is one of the best so far!!! 💚💯 As well as the other staff did an awesome job. Everyone did a great job. Worked well as a team. Very humble and made me feel welcome to get that restaurant. Food was hot and fresh five stars.
China House Restaurant
Yang chao fried rice is one of the best. Not too oil, bland, or salty. Hits the spot. Salt and pepper was great, serving was big for two people! Prawns, not a big fan because of the thick breading. But I love their sweet and sour sauce. Everything was in order, they had complementary chicken soup which was perfect for the cold weather. They had complete condiments such as their chili. I will go back once I crave Chinese food again. Oh, serving was so quick as well!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at China House restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience that exceeded my expectations. The moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The food at China House was simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavor and it was evident that each item was meticulously prepared using fresh ingredients. The pot stickers, in particular, tasted like they were made with love and care - truly homemade perfection. One of the highlights of our dining experience was the innovative spinning middle design table. As a family of 6, this feature made it incredibly convenient for us to share and sample a variety of dishes. We were able to order a plethora of items, indulging in the vast array of flavors that China House had to offer.
